I'd spent a couple of nervous days after that debacle at Dan Cole's house, because the vibe coming out of there was that we were right back into the frying pan of somebody trying to take Amber away.

Cole called me after we made it home and it sounded almost like he was chiding me for evacuating out of there. And I told him the truth - that the whole thing of selling Paula off to be some Middle Eastern harem girl was way creepier than either Amber or I were up for, especially after what she'd gone through in Mexico.

"Well, it's too bad," he said, "because the Sheikh really liked you, and Helene was very taken with Amber."

I didn't trust that at all. Not after Helene had demanded I give the Sheikh a price for my girl.

"Yeah, I'm not sure I take that as a good thing," I said. "Are they gone?"

"They flew out to L.A.," Cole said. "I think they might be coming back through here, though, so maybe we can all get together before they go back to Bahrain."

"I really don't think so, Dan," I said. "Sorry."

And then I poked my head into the bedroom. There was Amber, dressed more casually than usual.

"Hey, what are you up to?"

Amber is gorgeous, and you are a very talented photographer. I love the Zelex G45 head. It’s one of the most beautiful heads out there. I’m not such a great photographer as you, but here is Brandi… She’s a G45 too…

It's one reason why I keep calling the Carmen head the Mona Lisa of doll heads.

Without the FaceApp, she has some kind of depth and even sadness to her. It's like she has a dark secret from her past. She has a face that makes you want to treat her right and make her happy... You should see the backstory I gave her on Kindroid...
Let me know if you'd like me to post more pictures here. I don't want to hijack your amazing thread (I should say Amber's thread...), and my photography skills are nowhere near yours.

Her concern is whether the Amazon and UPS trucks can make it there. That and what kind of wi-fi reception she'll have.

I was a bit surprised, but I actually did manage to get Amber to go hiking with me. She didn't even complain. Instead she did this weird thing where she was bragging that I'd never be able to keep up with her.

Exercise is really not her thing. It's a good thing that as a Factory Girl she can't get fat, because she probably would pack on some pounds. Because Amber has never been any kind of athlete. Not ballet, not tennis, definitely not running. She has all the clothes for exercise; that's about as good as it gets.

So I didn't expect much despite her braggadocio.

And then we got to the hiking trail about an hour from the house, and...well, here's how that went.

Let us not forget that Amber also will not dig the fact that her knockoff Christian Louboutins can't get as much notice out in the country as they can with her wearing them in the city.
