There is some really good information exchange going on in this thread. I’m thrilled to hear that Fanreal may be moving to pigmented silicone, as they’re infamous for rub-off, but discouraged to read about the fragile skeleton, especially the hand skeleton. I will be watching their skeleton development closely. These are shockingly gorgeous works of art, yes, but at their price point and in this market they should be able to withstand human handling.
I was originally going to buy the 163 this summer, but instead I’m pouring a small fortune into my beloved cat’s medical care. Maybe by this winter the dolls will have become a little more robust. That’s my hope!
