This is great news Patrick, a 59 pound doll with the trademark PIB curves seems like a dream come true.

This photo alone should sell a dozen.

sturm, please re-read the very first post in this thread, written by toonist himself. Everything aire just said comes directly from that post.

toonist... absolutely top notch!
any chance we can get a side by side comparison of both
doll bodies standing so we can get a better idea of
the height difference between original and petite PIB?

Stacey is right, that's why The Private Island Beauties look very Elf-Like, or characters from The Dark Crystal or some other fantasy place.
Read "Uncanny Valley" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley to see why looking close to human may be worse than looking totally non-human. Such creatures could be construed as deformed humans and evoke a very negative response.

My suggestion is that Private Island Beauties take full body casts of real women.
Put up an ad in a local paper for models, hold auditions and perhaps pay them $100 for each doll that is sold. The women can earn residuals while sleeping (Pun intended). This is much better than acting in a porn movie. It could be a good move for women who want to go into modeling or acting. So it's a win-win situation, for Private Island Beauties, The Models and for us Guys.

Now here is what an average girl would look like, as opposed to a super model

I could relate to that more than a skinny doll in her 20's, or maybe even less.

Toonist, thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate you're doing a full body cast of a real girl.

Perhaps you, or any doll company can audition say 20 models.
Have Forum members vote on them. Perhaps they could pick their four or five favorites.
Then take full body (or head) casts of the winners.
If a thousand forum members were to vote, that should be a pretty broad sample.

Speaking for myself, looking at a PIB certainly is not 'worse' than looking at a real human and they sure as hell do not look deformed. In fact, they look better than 99% of real women I see everyday. If I am going to be buying a likeness of a real woman, I naturally want it to be as beautiful as possible.

Personally, I would not want to pay thousands of dollars to have a replica of some average girl on the street, but that is just me. I want a goddess that looks like she just stepped out of my wildest fantasies and Patrick's dolls fit that bill for me more so than any other doll I have been looking at. Looking forward to the day that I finally own one.

Keep up the good work, Pat. Never let your vision be compromised, for you have created the likeness of a goddess with all of your offerings. I wager more would approve then not.

Love Black Women while I respect your thoughts on PIBs looking like fairies or some how not quite human, I don't agree with you, there not one thing about Destiny that looks like a elf or sub human she looks very realistic and depending on how shes dressed she can look like the girl next door or a super model, their bodies look very realistic and the faces are beautiful, and when I look at Destiny I see alot of thing but not a fairy or elf, but just like with women everyone has their own likes and dislikes, thats whats great about PIBs Patrick will work with you to try a give you just what you desire. btw I posted a couple of pics just to show I don't see anything elf like about Destiny LOL

hi toonist this may have been a mistake on your measurements you had "height 57" or 4'9" i think you just ment 4'9 or do you mean 57 inches and was saying the inches to. at any rate you did an excellent job on the body ratio looks so much so that it is actually very hard to tell from the photo's that the doll is actually that small , it still looks just like the full size ... good thing this isn't april or i would think you were pulling an april fools joke on us lol !
great work as alway's once again you have pulled off some very good work to be proud of! the girl next door looks very nice also!

I have really been looking forward to seeing Kira as well. I am betting that she will be right up there with Hope and Fujiko for me.
