I was searching on the DF for some reference to the size of eyes (in mm) but didn't find anything. Are they different for each face? Has anyone taken a calipher to determine the size, especially for face 11? I was looking on Abyss website for the same information but only found that their eyes are made for their dolls. Also, I was a little curious about trying to see whether installing a slightly smaller eye (2 mm less) would make my dolls facial expression look less wide eyed as if suprised by something, but then I don't want them falling out while having fun! I haven't dared tried to pop out her eyes with fear of not getting them back in and messing up her eyelashes. Has anyone done this?

Does anybody have any input on this?

Thanks

My 4,5 year old Realdoll has 24mm eyes, but I don't know if that has changed over the years.

From what I have read on the forum quite some time ago, Real Doll eyes are 24mm, except for the Face 16, which has 26mm size eyes.

This is e.g. what Manekineko posts here, back in 2008: viewtopic.php?p=182015#p182015
I have no RealDoll of my own, so I have no first hand experience to compare with. Not sure if the sizes are still the same; also this information might not apply to the RD2 faces, as they did not exist back then.

That's cool.

By having 24 mm eyes, they are anatomically correct in addition to their other parts.

From what i've read, the diameter of average human adult eye is ~ 24mm (iris takes up ~12mm diameter and the scelera (whites of eyes) takes up the rest.).
