Some of us are extending from May 10 to May 14.

TDF Doll Lover Meets are organized and hosted by doll community members and not by commercial interests.

The weekend events usually consist of a meet and greet on the Friday night, with refreshments and take-out provided compliments of CoverDoll/DollForum.

The Saturday is for photo shoots and a tour of the Hershey Chocolate factory for those interested.

Saturday night is a group supper at a local pub or restaurant.

Sunday is more mingling and photo sessions.

Other events can include videos, games, shopping at the local stores and lecture/seminar/discussion groups on photography and dolls. It is an excellent place to see many different brands of dolls in one setting and talk with other doll owners face to face. TDF Doll Lover meets are also held in the UK in the fall

Those people who wish to arrive by air or ground public transport will be picked up and dropped back off compliments of myself or one of the other attendees who brought their car.

You don't need to bring a doll to attend. Last year we had over 30 dolls and 15 attendees.

For those who do not get a room at the B&B where we are hosting the event we can still arrange for you to have your breakfasts there with the others.

If you have any further questions or wish to participate in our private discussions we can enter you into the meeting room group. Newer members will first have to be verified before given access to the meeting room or attending the meet.

i'm still trying to get my parents to actually talk about it.... >.>

Let's see... May 11th I'll be out of school. Hmm.. say a hotel would be $200 a night for 3 nights will be a good $600. From AR to PA round trip looks to be about $800. Taxi to and from airport and hotel, not sure what the standard fair is, I'll guess $200. Food would be $20 a meal, about 3 meals a day, so $60 times 4 days means $240. And for misc I'll allow $100. So all together $1850 would be a safe number to estimate it would cost me.

I don't even know if I'll have a place to live or if any of my resumes will pick up a job. Since the first meeting I really wished I could go. It sucks ya know, being 20 something in America right now. Promise to keep having meetings guys! I'll get there eventually if I don't make it this year!

i know the feeling.....it sucks more living with your parents and older brother and never having privacy when you're engaged... >.>

My owner Kazuo and I are still seriously considering this.

Hershey PA is only a 3 hour drive.

Since I'm more than he can handle we're looking to carpool. Is anyone coming from or passing through the DC Metro area? VA, DC, MD, or WV?

That's costly.

I live in the Pittsburgh area, so I could drive out there,
but I'm just not interested in meeting up with people here, as I am sure they aren't interesting in meeting me! I just like keeping to myself and my dolls is all. Last time I ever went anywhere was out to Hollywood to see a production of Maurice Maeterlinck's magnificent play Monna Vanna. Took me years to pay myself back for the expense, but it was sooooooooooo worth it. It takes a lot for me to actually go out and do something, and just the thought of meeting up with a bunch of people that I don't really get along with, is ridiculous.

Hope you get to go some year, as long as they are still going on.

Oh, don't sugar-coat it for our sake; if you're not interested in attending, just say so.

Its a little far away from where i'm currently located. I guss if I wanted to go I would have to fly and I have not been on a plane in over 10yrs. I guss im uneasy about flying Because of those mandatory pat downs where their allowed unzip your pants and reach down your underwear to touch your privet parts with gloves. Than they Micorwave you and get to see you and your children naked with their nude body scanners. The worst part is if you say no to any of this they put you in jail and make you pay like thousands of dollers. If i got a new car I might drive a few days to join in on all the fun
Maybe by that time I'll have made some realy close friend here and there would be even more of an insentive for me to attend. I joined about five months ago so I guss im new and I haven't gotten to know anyone that well yet. I have like 0 friends on my friend profile thing lol In the mean time I guss i'll be looking foward to all the great photos that are always taken every year even if the faces are blurred to protect the innocent lol jk .

PS. Would any of you know if Airplanes allow you to buy seats for large Realdolls ? I wouldn't mind people staring at me in the air for a few hours as long as I knew that my Doll was safe next to me or are there other methods Airlines use to transport Realdolls ? I hear Air line sometimes let you transport the dead in coffins . Would they allow me to put my Realdoll in a coffin instead of a dead person ?
