Why cosycottage finds it funny:
1. The gruff northern accent. (North of England..... can't think of a comparative US one... Like a thick regional accent... a Boston accent, or one of the Fargo accents?) 2. Juxtaposition of original material and the new, bizarre context. 3. The utter stupidity of a tiny piglet/penis metaphor shooting out unexpectedly from behind the newspaper.
I just love the absurdity of it and the situationist "culture jamming" of Peppa the Pig and the overdub and the conversation and the surprise: subverting the original message and thereby creating a 'detournement".

That's definitely a UK accent. The Boston accent is nothing like that.
As for the video, it's about as pathetic as Peter Griffin getting it on with a Kathy Ireland cardboard cutout. The real Kathy Ireland circa 1990 would've been awesome, but still.
Well, inflatable pigs can fly with helium, I reckon.

Yes, I was trying to avoid follow-up comments asking "a North England accent? What's that? Is it supposed to be stupid?" by trying to suggest an equivalent North American accent for y'all.
Obviously, my cunning plan didn't work.
And yes - or should I say "Aye!" - Warren Clarke who was in A Clockwork Orange, born in Lancashire (North of England). That kind of broad northern accent.
