Interesting BoyToy doll measurements

Hi Doll fans,

Here at the Fox Den, we have been in the process of ordering some custom tailored dresses for our girls. Taking into account some specific measurements, we have spotted some uniqueness to the Boy Toy doll and her dimensions. It may not be so noticeable to the naked eyes.

For a particular dress, we were asked by the seamstress to measure the underarm seam length from the armpit to the wrist. When doing so for our Mechadoll, we found the number to be 16 inches (the Mechadoll is 5' 5" tall). The same measurement for the BoyToys was 16 1/2 inches (though these dolls are only 5 feet tall).

We then did a quick measurement from the fingertips to the knees (dolls laying down with arms straight). The Boytoys fingertips were much closer to their knees than the Mechadolls were to theirs. The Mechas' measurements were much closer to reality as Mrs. Foxy helped me prove since her fingertips to her knees was much closer to the Mecha's ballpark than to the Boytoys.

This is in no way a judgement of anything........just a fun fact that we have just come across. While the BoyToy doll's arms might be a bit long (and perhaps the body a bit short), they are still incredibly beautiful and fun to dress, photograph, and look at.

That's an interesting fact indeed, which makes me wonder why they chose to make the dolls arms longer than they should be.

Boytoys are based on drawings, cartoons and fantasy and do not attempt to replicate the measurements of real females, which is Real Doll area of expertise, which is why the sister company was formed years back.
