Hi Guy. Very useful comparison of heads and the different eyes. I think it's extremely brave to attempt to change the eyes. It looks worth it because the green ones are beautiful. I'm too scared to even move Hanna's eyes but then I am quite happy with the brown ones. I'll get the courage to move them one day. Hanna's got a soft face and it's lovely especially when kissing it kind of moves and looks very realistic. Your happiness with Mia shines out at the moment and long may this continue.

That's true, the lips are so soft!!
The main problem on the old head is that the silicone seeps oil on down the concave area and needs more cleaning/powdering to prevent sticking on the neck section of the body.

Never experienced that with Lily (2011) or Sacha (2012) - they have the old head, Lissa (2013) has the soft face option.

This head dates from 2012 and was produced with the A.I.doll Evolution-body who seeped much oil too

It was a little annoying because the neck is wider on the A.I.NEO im-body. The new head moves very freely and fine.

Badly the eyelashes came off on the old head (not very well fixed

) but as soon I can catch a new pair I replace them. the main problem on the original eyes are:
- they've a burr on the eyeball http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 25#p655225
- they're not fully round like a ball, but cut on the backside http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 26#p655126

it's hard to position these eyeballs due to the burr and eye cavity inlay so better keep them out and invest in a new set. On the soft face option it's done in a few minutes and fully worth the change.
The brown eyes fits fine to Hanna's face & hair color

Today, I will show you:

The 4Woods head bust.
This is a nice accessory for an additional head display and should not be missed in your 4woods collection. This head bust isn't cast in silicone but it's a hard-shell plastic like a mannequin body.
The coloring matches very well to the medium silicone tone and the neck is equipped with the patented click-on system, the same way as the doll body.
To prevent scratching I applied some self-adhesive silicone pads on the bottom of the head base which you can find in a DIY-shop.

Oh dear Guy I just had a look at the links in your reply. You are more brave than I had thought. I must say though that I was very impressed with the whole presentation and thoroughness of your guides. Absolutely superb, just like a technical manual. One would think you were a technical author the way you have done this. Brilliant work. Anyone could follow that.

Interesting comparison photos.
The eye modification was something I knew about but didn't dare look at the photos.
I took a peak just now and I almost passed out!
You should think about doing eye surgery on the weekends for extra money.
Seems like you have the tools and experience to replace any eyeball.
Almost like the movie minority report.
