Should I order from WM directly, or order through a vendor?

I'd like to buy this product: http://www.wmdolls.com/en/productView.asp?id=21 It costs $1,280 if ordered through WM Dolls.

However, this vendor is selling it cheaper than the official website: http://www.iamdolls.com/products-174.html And they offer free shipping, too!

Not only that, but a vendor on Alexipress is supposedly selling a $1,400 doll for only $695! http://es.aliexpress.com/item/2015-New- ... 9.html?s=p

Is there any reason why I should order from WM directly instead of just ordering through a cheaper vendor? Is there any downside to ordering through a vendor?

Aliexpress is like eBay, you can't trust all you see there. Maybe is true, or maybe is used, damaged or scam. Maybe even he is selling other doll different to those pictures.

Yeah, that's the impression that I got of Aliexpress...

But what about 1am dolls, though? Are they legit? Should I order from WM dolls, or order from 1am dolls?

that seller only has 80 feedback, all from dresses (cheap as hell) Not one doll sold, all the pics are watermarked from ANOTHER store, Betting $200 its a scam.

I got a 158cm doll off aliexpress, for only a little less then WM offers, from a seller with hundreds of feedback and 100% positive. Found multiple defects, getting absolutely no support from any vendor or my aliexpress seller.
Oh, and its only 145cm to the heels too.

As others have said, i don't advise buying from aliexpress, especially if they offer the dolls at much cheaper than else where - classic 'bait and switch' tactic - you buy what you think is the doll in the pictures, but then they actually send you a much cheaper doll - usually an inflatable. STAY AWAY!

1AM USA is an absolutely trustworthy site, Bret is a first class vendor. He will answer all your emails promptly. Many people on here have bought dolls from him, good prices too.

Okay, it's good to know that 1AM USA is trustworthy.

Unfortunately, 1AM USA isn't selling the doll that I want; only iamdolls.com is selling it. Are the two websites affiliated, or is iamdolls.com a scam site? Is it safe to use iamdolls.com instead of iamdollusa.com ?

Also, how are other sites selling dolls for cheaper than the official manufacturer? Are they selling used dolls, or something?

Like Jimjam said, 1amdollusa is a good site.
I bought a Jasmine doll. No problems (got it shipped to Germany)
If you think something is wrong with website, don't trust it.
And offering dolls cheaper than the manufacturer? .... No go, mate.

I am sure Brent has a doll that will suite ALL your wishes. Just save the cash...it's worth it.

Well, iamdolls.com is selling dolls cheaper than the manufacturer. That's the part that makes me scratch my head.

I associate "cheaper than manufacturer" with "ripoff scam site" but iamdollusa.com is definitely not a scam site. I guess what I really want to know is, what's the relation between iamdolls.com and iamdollusa.com ?

As Scooter said, PM Brent in the 1AM subforum here on TDF. Ask him for a price quote on the torso doll and compare it w/ the WM price.

As haremlover said inquire w/ both parties (Brent-1AM subforum, Adam - WM Dolls Affiliate in the WM subforum) about any TDF member discounts.

In reality there is nothing wrong with the price of the manufacturer being higher. It's even logical. If the manufacturer was selling is products lower than his distributors, it will kill their business and they will stop selling his doll. That's the same thing with every product.

1 AM China is a distributor. Many vendors have made arrangements with 1 AM China.

Often, 1 AM China's site does not show all that they work with.
