Lambo door leg mod?

I assume that car door mods would be too large, so it's probably not worth the effort. But, I'm curious since they're designed to make something straight move "up and away". For "access."
I guess a sitting mannequin would just be easier, or a posable one.

Yeah I think so. Especially after looking at the price of those hinges.Lahfan1970 wrote:I guess a sitting mannequin would just be easier, or a posable one.
Sitting mannequins most usually have flattened legs and/or backsides so I would avoid them.
Generally I've found that the kneeling mannequins are the best/easiest overall for modding.
They don't have a waist joint and both legs come off which is a huge benefit. They make a nice torso without legs attached.
Here are three that I've done...

At first I thought, "hey those hinges must have lots of regulations they need to meet" and then I realized that I probably wouldn't want my doll's legs slamming closed on me either!MannequinFan wrote:Yeah I think so. Especially after looking at the price of those hinges.
Fantastic, thanks so much for the links! I doubt I'll ever have enough free time to play with one, but I really appreciate it.MannequinFan wrote:Sitting mannequins most usually have flattened legs and/or backsides so I would avoid them.
