What can I do if I still want DS-145?

THE DS-145 sales suspended,
So it means we can no longer buy the 145 from official web for now?
Except buy a used one?

From what i understand, you only need to wait a while until they start to sell the improved version of that doll.

Does that mean 145 cm bodies will be available someday? For example after the upgrades? So, the sale suspense is only temporary?

DS Doll always use to take a pause to update their models, the 158cm went thru this process, the 160cm as well; just give them a couple of months and the DS145cm will be back, better than ever.

Do we know what the upgrades will be? Because on other threads there's plenty of commentary about the coincident suspension of both the DS Mini and the 145s.

The email I got from DS stated that the 145 minus & 145 will no longer be available. They will be introducing 145 plus only with more mature heads in a few months.

I just wish they would have gave us a warning before they did this. I was planning on buying another 145 minus next year. I have bought 2 dsdolls this year so my money is tight right now. But if I had known about this I would have taken out a loan and bought her this year.
Yeah, I hear they are going to improve the 145s. Problem is I love her they way she already is.

Reminds me of back in 1995 when I went to buy a Tama Rockstar drum set. I spent months saving up, went to the local music store and put down a $1000 downpayment. Two days later get a call saying the Rockstar series was being discontinued but something new a better was coming out. He advised me to just spend the money on something else. I said no and got a refund. I spent the next 4 days on the phone and internet dealing with music stores that had Rockstar drums in their inventory and pieced together the set I wanted. Music store A had the 18" floor tom. Music store B had a set with the 22x18" bass drum. Music store C had the additional 22x18" bass drum I wanted. and Music store D had the 16" floor tom I wanted. Lot of work and an additional $200 just to buy something that never should have been discontinued.
A few month later the new series came out and I HATED IT.The drums were shorter and the lugs were horrendous looking. I was glad that I took the time to buy what I knew I wanted while I had the chance.

I just hope this does not happen with the 145 series ds dolls.

I remember that set. Great sounding drums. I was saving for a Marshall stack then. Now I have a Mesa Recto-verb.

Well you can't blame DS for responding to the fact that US customs are seizing some of their dolls before they reach customers. It's idiotic that that is happening, but DS can't keep eating the loss when their smaller dolls just randomly get seized.

Something like the 145- will probably become a collectors item now, as I doubt DS will ever sell another in the United States. DS is not making any improvements at all, other than changing the web site to sell only the 145 plus model with breasts the size of Jupiter and only the most mature-looking faces.

TDF should probably adopt a similar policy of only allowing photos of 145+ models with some set of clearly adult faces. And that also means no more pics of the DS mini either.

I think this stuff is absurd pedophile hysteria criminalizing dolls like this, but TDF already have a policy about these sorts of dolls and it looks like it needs to be enforced now against some very popular DS models (that for the record, very obviously have the bodies of women and not children).

No, I don't blame DSdoll for what is happening. I just hope if they have to stop selling the 145 and 145 minus that they leave the 145 plus the way she is. I don't like the oversized breasts but I do LOVE the rest of her. I would still buy the 145 plus if they don't do any exterior changes.
