I didn't realize how much cleaning of the doll was necessary. Glad I'm learning all of this before my first purchase.

Yes, dolls take some maintenance. It's all totally worth it.
I have a video tutorial up for this now.
It covers cleaning and drying and it's a short video.
It's a few threads below this one.
There is also a link to the video thread in my signature below.

Love the tutorial. Have you tried using a fluid syringe? The storage is much larger and the tube is thin and made of plastic which would make it easier to fit inside her.

The purpose of this thread is to educate about CLEANING, and not avoiding cleaning.
There IS an avoiding cleaning thread for you to impart your wisdom to.
This thread is NOT about using a rubber to avoid cleaning as has been stated many times within this thread.

Female and male condoms both feel like shit.
Female condoms look like shit hanging out of a doll pussy or any pussy for that matter.
I DON'T like that.
Real pussies can be diseased or impregnated which merits the use of a male or female condom until you trust the real pussy so you don't catch a disease or an unwanted child. Sometimes, real pussy can betray that trust.

Doll pussies on the other hand will never betray your trust and can't be impregnated and won't give you a disease so why deny oneself the experience and feeling of barebacking some good pussy without any risks whatsoever?

Doll pussies are made with textures in them to feel great and give you a good hump.
How do you 100% feel those textures wearing a fucking rubber?!
Sounds kinda lazy and crazy to me to spend all that money on a doll just to get the same feeling you get from jerking yourself off.

The only time using any kind of rubber with a doll makes sense to me is with a built in TPE doll where you have to worry about the TPE ball coming out when cleaning. Then, a rubber makes sense so you reduce the chance of damaging your dolls pussy.

Silicone doesn't have that issue and that's not what this thread is about.
Please don't derail this thread.

Yes, good to keep this thread on track! I do use female condoms from time to time, but prefer without. And as for using male condoms inside female ones, why would you want to do this? Just use male on their own!

It seems to me that if manufacturers such as JY, Sino and Gynoid go to such lengths to give a better user experience with the internal designs of their vaginas, why dilute that experience by putting a barrier in the way?

I am lucky with cleaning as I have an ensuite bathroom in my flat and don't find it too difficult carrying mine there and sitting them on the loo when necessary. A good sized syringe is certainly better than the flimsy douche efforts you get with most dolls and which I now throw out. Sino supplied a decent syringe with my 161. I also use paper towels and tampons to help soak up some of the "liquids" and I have an aquarium pump to help with the drying process.

3% Hydrogen Peroxide is great for sterilizing the cavities - you just put some on a paper towel or a tampon and insert. You don't need to leave it in for more than a few minutes for it to be effective. Just rinse out afterwards. It's a great way of preventing bacterial mould growth, especially with TPE dolls.

Apart from the plug, the main issue with TPE dolls is their porosity; not a problem with silicone.

No it's not. :P
Might as well just jerk yourself off instead of spending the money on a doll because it will feel about the same if you use any kind of rubber with a doll. A doll that you can't impregnate or catch a disease from.

I did something similar with mine, except a used a squeeze water bottle with a nozzle on it about 5-7 times with good pressure after squirting up silicone/TPE safe toy cleaner up there. Three to four more bottles of fresh water after. I just let her hang up a little bit in the closet with two one-inch stainless steel rings and a fan to dry her out. After that I used a pen and wrapped up a papertowel and gently dabbed at the interior of the vaginal, oral, and anal cavities to ensure that all excess moisture is gone. After that, remove the rings and voila!

Great tips! (Although I'm going to be selling my doll soon.)

This are all good tips!
I also leave a diatomaceous earth stick inside the canal after every cleaning session, this sticks are incredibly good at absorbing residual moisture, I keep at least 3 sticks, so I always have a dry one ready to go in.
This also works on TPE dolls, but I don't recommend leaving the stick inside for too long since it can absorb the oil and get ruined really fast.

Glad to see this get bumped up again, (stumbled on this a couple months back) this post really helps
We got the bucket system going a couple months ago and it was the best $15 I've spent
It used to take a couple hours time and effort to lift and clean before we tried this. Now it's maybe 10 minutes to lift my dolls off the bed and clean them.
It's given me more time to be with them and not dread the clean up

Here's a slightly more technical approach. Building a cleaning system from 2x diaphragm pumps (12V, LOW VOLTAGE, never mess with line voltage!) and a modified vaginal irrigator nozzle. Tested it once, seems to do the job. No idea about long-term effectiveness or any adverse side effects on doll or owner. Replicate at your own risk.

Hi, I see in the tutorials that some mention 3% hydrogen Peroxide used to rinse out sometimes, is rubbing alcohol an alternative, any pros and cons between Alcohol vs Hydrogen Peroxide with Silicone?

I have never used peroxide. I always use rubbing alcohol with no problems. I don't use it for everything.
For play time cleaning, I use hot water and antibacterial hand soap.
I use alcohol for heavy dirt or before doing a repair or modification.
