I think thats why the other brand eyes have the sheath. to keep the eyes with something non stick to rotate on. soft silicone will never work as a non stick sliding surface. unless as you suggest, you lubricate it with something.

The GT eyes are well made and far superior to XYColo. It is an effort to move xycolo eyes. I'm wondering if Xycolo has omitted the non-sticky coating from inside the eyes. There is no powder or lube behind the eyes. Please have a look at the picture bellow to understand our eye structure.

Looks 100% better, no longer takes two hands to move the eye.
Movement can now be done with a slight touch of the eye it's self.
Veins show as does a slight tanning of the whites of the eye.

This is how a doll at this price point should look ...period.

Well as they say "into the breach". I guess part of owning a doll is making her/him your own.
In this case it had to be done.
But thank you Dark Knight , it's all about having a good time, even if it means working on new $4,000 dolls.

I dont really wanna help pile on here, but i do agree that they eyes are almost the most important part of creating a realistic looking face

And by now doll manufactures should be catching on that gynoid are the only company that has managed proper workable eyes, they should all be making moves to develop somthing similar

Also looking forward to some more photoshoots!

Wow JIT, I didn't know you were such a master doll mechanic.

Do you think there is any possibility of making a hybrid XYcolo head and different manufacturer body combo?

With so few bodies and seemingly hard compromises for the XYcolo dolls, it would be great if you could buy just the head or attach the head to a different body.
(I like the XYcolo heads)

I'd say it's possible, but requires replacing the connector from either the body or the head.

Other manufacturers just choose the compromises for you and don't give you as much choice about what you'd prefer to prioritize. Similar technical considerations constrain all silicone doll makers. Xycolo allows the customer to make the choice, which at least I like a lot. Even if the choice is difficult.

No fault to XYColo but a quickly adjustable eye I would say should be pretty standard for a $4000 doll. Just step up your game, really.

Your suggestion about eyes are taken. Thank you for helping us to improve.

However, in the near future we will use the same eyes, since this eye is a choice after hundred of times test by our doll-engineer, who has been in the doll industry more than 10 years.
