I use a combination of real and false piercings. I’d use false ones where ever you possibly can just to avoid any potential damage. Katyas earlobes are pierced. Her nose ring is false and her upper ear clasps are also false

Thanks
I’m not a fan of nipple or nose or clit, just belly button as the others can rip out fairly easy. And it’s easy to do.

I do like "dangly" belly button piercings like both you guys have done quite a lot, and I plan on doing one on my doll. However, I have one concern:

Given the right (wrong) circumstances, like when having sex while she's laying prone on her belly, would there not be a big risk of the dangly bits causing marks/scratches/damage just below her navel? Does anyone have experience with "dangly" piercings rubbing against her skin in everyday scenarios?

Also, a practical question about applying navel piercings: The barbell/"banana" of the piercing is usually curved a bit. So would I also need to use a somewhat curved needle to prepare the piercing tunnel? Or does everyone just use straight needles/studs for that?

Nope , and shes had it in about a year now .
I did have one incident in the shower ,where our bodys were rubbing togther and i guess the friction pulled it through the peircing hole.
But because of the ball end ,i just pushed it back through the hole .
No damage.

Ok cool, that's reassuring.

As for putting the piercing in, I've found some info in this recent thread: Any Piercing Experts on the Forum?
In it, Carbohvdrates recommends making a pilot hole with a thin needle:
carbohvdrates wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:14 amTPE is a pretty tough material with a lot of give, but I'm pretty sure the reason they tell you to do the initial piercing with a smaller needle is so that you don't cause micro tearing. A small, even, smooth puncture can then later spread for a larger gauge. A jagged and too large hole that was pushed through in order to accommodate a big needle will become a potential tearing point.
Still unclear about how to make a curved tunnel without a curved needle tho.

There's a video about piercing TPE dolls from a German vendor which seems reputable. There, the guy doesn't make any pilot holes and just puts all the piercings (ear, navel, eyebrow) just straight in.

Your over thinking it ,.
Just use the j shape of the peircing , ( remove the ball cap) pinch her belly button where you want the peircing to go and push the threaded tip of the peircing intonher meat until you can see the tip of the peircing through the TPE.
If you dont like it you can try again ,(you havent broken the meat yet )
Once your satisfied, massage your finger over the meat where you see the peircing tip ,pressing down onnthe peircing as you do little circles ,this will start cutting into the TPE you will feel a faint POP when it makes it all the way through .
Install the cap and marvel at your work!
