This is my first attempt at a photo shoot using my cell phone camera. I know nothing about photography. I will say that in the photos she looks a lot skinnier than she does in real life. I have no idea why that would be. Look at Metricnut's Alicia to get a better sense of how she looks in real life:

Of course, Alicia is a D-cup but I believe their proportions are otherwise the same.

Great to see another a-cupper, and Emily is beautiful!

You wondered how she looks skinnier in photos. Quick remedy: zoom away-edit: IN! some and move few feets away, then shoot from a little lower like 3 feet high. These balance the body from wide-angle lens distortion.

Good idea is to follow what you see; when anytime she looks fantastic, do shots and close-ups right there, with a few zoom variants.

Thanks for the advice. At some point I would like to make the effort to learn more about photography and get a decent camera. I enjoy taking pictures of Emily but getting to the point where I have the proper equipment, setup, knowledge, and skills to to a proper photo shoot seems so overwhelming right now. But I've got to start somewhere.

Smartphone is perfectly good tool, quite a lot of great pics on the forum are shot with it.

Did you order this to the United States? I have been thinking of getting a sanhui 145 a but am curious if customs would have a problem with them.

Yes, I ordered her from the US. There are currently no laws in the US regarding dolls appearance and I've have never seen any stories of people having any trouble with customs in the US.
