Judith in, "Weekend Mode" part 1 of 2.

Occasionally, I catch Judith on the couch watching a movie or show. The Empress typically lounges in a comfortable shirt and underwear and is barefoot. I very much love seeing her relaxed.

Thank you. Yeah, that is the first time I had one doll standing next to another to show the height comparison. Judith towering over other dolls makes me love her even more!

Judith in, "Weekend Mode" part 2 of 2.

She was showing off her legs, spreading them out, and propping them on the back of the couch. I love the details of her feet. I have always preferred her and Annie to not have the standing bolts feature.

What special precautions do you take when you have them stand up for photos? Do you put special foams in the shoes?

That is a great question. I make sure the insides are nice and soft. They have to fit nice and snug, with good rubber soles on the bottom to prevent slipping. Most important, I have them stand in that position for a very short amount of time. Only the duration of that part of the photoshoot.

Happy New Year! Our 2023 Favorites, part 2.

It was tough deciding our favorite photos of Judith. All her shoots turned out amazing regarding clarity, color, pose, and creativity. Simply put, The Empress belongs in front of the camera. To those who follow us here, we thank you so much for the support and wish you all a Happy 2024!

Have I mentioned how much I love, love, love seeing The Empress towering above another lovely doll?

Judith as, "The Pirate" part 1.

A photoshoot of The Empress from mid-September, buried under many others, resurfaced today. Judith seemed to be okay with my mistake. She quietly mentioned that she thought it was a cute set.

Judith as, "The Pirate" part 2.

Taking photos of the girls on the steps leading to the bedroom has always been a challenge regarding lighting. This is the first time I am happy with the results. The Empress is even standing in some of the shots.

Towards the end of the shoot, she removed her bandana, revealing her natural gold hair. I love how it shimmered in the photos. I also caught a few of her ‘non-sarcastic’ smiles, which are quite rare.

Our good friend and supporter, @Kota_Morgue on X, _666rotten on IG, made this lovely outfit. This is not the first time she has sent Annie and Judith clothing items with her style.
