They were seamless one piece dolls in different varieties. I made them until 2018. I stoped this hobby because I had a mentally bad time in the Country I live in. But it has got a lot better since and maybe I will start again soon. I also have photos of some dolls, but I don't know how to show them here.
Interesting! Can you make a doll that looks as good as the discontinued French Domax doll?

I only make male dolls. They look a bit different, because they are complete latex, included the head. Is there an option to upload photos here? I can`t find an option here anywhere. I have some nice photos to show. My dolls are all handmade, therefore they are not "perfect" but unique. The Latex is over 1mm thick.

Not bad though! I'd have no idea how to make a doll like that myself. If you could make women dolls, you'd defininitely have a buyer.
That being said, I think the domax dolls have pretty amazing heads and body shape. I wonder if the same could be done with a pure latex body, given enough care...
I actually made a 3d model of the domax doll at some point. Considering uploading it, if that helps anybody.

Maybe I will make female dolls in the future. At the moment I only have the molds for male dolls.

i to think if you can make female dolls that are good enough that people will buy them . the main word being better and good looking .
anyone who can create a good , nice looking female doll in latex will mostly have a market all to their selves , of course price will matter to though. :D :wink: the one dip look or design of course looks the best instead of add on tits etc. as some vinyl dolls etc. do .

LATEXTRANCER;
All you need is a fiberglass mannequine or ever a plastic dip it in latex pale it off and you have a rubber doll body already made and if you don't have a dip tank, use a hvlp air gun work best but takes longer, been their done that. I have one body made with a plastic model came out nice and smooth as you can see in photo, the next photo is a mini silicone doll I think is 36'' doll so it can be done, she is 5 years old now. It's just how much do you want too spend, a 5 gallon pail of latex is 240.00 from fun F/X, I did see one place where it was 159.00 without shipping, takes about 2 gallons per doll at 1/8 to 1/4'' thick

Yes, I use fiberglass mannequins to make my dolls. I normally apply the latex with a brush or with my hands. I know that the dipping method is the best way to do this, but I don't have a dip tank. I also don't have a seperate room to have this. At the moment it is also a problem for me to buy these things, because I'm unemployed at the moment. But when things are getting better and I can find a good job again, I am thinking to invest some money in this hobby. I also thougt of haveng a hollow mold, where you pour the latex in and then rotate the whole mold, but then I would definetely need the extra space and an automatic turning device.

Here are some pictures from Getty photo I found on the internet, please dont repost as they belong to some else. As you can see this is a rotocast doll from the looks of the head, or just poured full and dumped out.

Yeah, those look quite amazing. I'm guessing whatever company made those is long out of business...
Really wondering now how hard it would be to make sth. like that at home.

You can avoid big and costly servos by filling the mold fully, but only tiny part of latex will be used so it's good for mass production. You can save even more latex by contracting the inner volume: viewtopic.php?p=1677794#p1677794
Also, you can have a smooth surface if you turn your doll inside out and paint that side (or even paint the mannequin itself with latex paint and apply more latex layers on it). Definitely not a doll for LWEP-like inflation but will take the reasonable pressure.

i just posted a possible way to have a inflatable doll or fiber filled doll on this forum area . highly detailed , just needs handa and feet and head . cost is actually comparable to what some inflatable dolls used to be .

Inflatable dolls don't always look good. Not to mention the excitement. Perhaps none of my business. But it is simply impossible to make an inflatable kulu with an interesting shape and pleasing to the eyes. Personal opinion.
