It's true! My screen name is a book that I should have reconsidered using as my online persona. But, oh well, too late now.

:haha4:

I will say though, I'm certainly open to chatting with/meeting BDSM folks in the doll community! Haven't met any yet.

I just ordered my first doll, and it is scheduled to arrive next week. I've been lurking this board nearly two decades, and pining for a doll since I saw the Howard Stern Real Doll interview/episode in the 90's.
I'm willing to two interviews pre and/or post doll. I'm guessing perhaps that would provide some useful insight regarding a before and after perspective.

Absolutely, and congrats on the order!

I'll send you a PM to follow up.

Hi Ken,

I too am about to receive my first doll, likely next month. I'm open to give you another perspective too. My decision seemed to creep up on me, but the offer is there!

I have received your PM and have replied. It is listed as "outbox" and not "sent", not sure why. Perhaps there is a delay.

Hi Drain Bammage, the pm stays in the outbox folder until it is opened by the recepient, after that it is moved to sent, so it hasn´t been opened when you checked. :)

Just finished our ‘couples’ interview with Ken. It was interesting. We felt entirely comfortable through out the process.
We highly recommend participation in this important study. We all want doll ownership to be more widely accepted. Spending an hour talking with Ken could make difference.

Have to say, interviewing a couple was a new experience for me but I enjoyed it! Thanks again.

Hi all. Newbie here. I haven't yet purchased a doll, but I am seriously considering it (and have been for some time) so I volunteered to be a survey participant, as a "prospective buyer". Ken took me up on it. My interview process has been completed. I'm mainly writing now, in public, to add my two cents that (like many others who had said so, in earlier posts) I was put at ease in regards to how the interviews were being handled, and so on. Personally, I found nothing wrong with any of the questions that were asked. I had asked if I could see the questions that would be asked, in writing, up front, before I went any further. The interviewer was cool with that request. I felt they were all sort of "softball" questions, myself: nothing "hardball" about any of them, that I could see. I am glad I participated ... and I'm glad that such a study is being done.

It's going to be interesting to see what results from all of this, when that time arrives!
