Near 2 hour documentary put together with collection of interviews, user vlogs, statistics and notable experiments. It has a fairly solid scientific approach with only a few incel appeals to its expected audience, manages to keep to data and opinions without hyperbole or profanity.

Solid documentary, only really ruined slightly by not being titled or formed to mass appeal.

Ironically, this was all nothing new to me. I have been realizing this for years, and even considered the additional weaponization of gynocentrisim and associated movements as even more restrictive than the raw data presented in the video.

Even when one beats the odds and gets married now, keeping the relationship is another thing, as while you away working to support your family unit, you are not giving attention and meeting morphed expectations, and there are plenty of other blokes, now available at the end of the smartphone. Even the worlds best goal keeper can not stop goals when they are not on the field.

For those lucky enough to still have loyal partners and good relationships from earlier generations and moral times before the invent of O/L apps, great to hear, and congrats, but it would be interesting to read of anyone here post 2012 whom actually has still got a great relationship with a lifelong trusted partner, whom actually met outside a dating app or service, and even from those who did meet online, and how that has worked out since.

The surprise in the stats for me was the Grindr app...5% percent women members...fascinating...so many possibilities to account for that.

@ plenty of catfish, i remember using early dating apps in like 2005 and it was like that then with scammers.

It does make me think of a business idea where you combine a few concepts, so we know about sexdolls in hotels where a hotel manager converted the hotel to a brothel , we know about dating apps where people pay subscription and get nothing, we know about people paying through the nose in freemium games and spending a lot of time in videogames, we know people spend on casinos or things with virtual rewards. We know people have started using AI chatbots.

What if you combined all that in one business concept:
So the core game could be a dungeons and dragons, that's the front (and there could be different game fronts), internally there are women characters who are cartoon avatars of actual sexdolls , which you can chat up and they have their own AI , winning would be playing the game to score a special gem or something and you have to chat them up, so it combines chat AI, videogame and casino RNG.
The videogame app which incorporates AI chatbot characters with underlying structure of both a dating app and a casino where the player has a 10% chance over 12 months of paying a subscription fee of being mailed a voucher, the voucher code is entered into a website where they get to pick their sexdoll that they dated in playing the game .
The base price of a subscription could be $30 a month but you'll be able to purchase items for $5-10 each that bump your scoring average up.
An average player would win 1 sexdoll every ten years but the design is such that buying in game items like flowers and chocolates and showering the girl you're after in the game with gifts bumps up the score average as will perseverance and sheer luck. People who already won dolls can elect to spend the voucher to bump up scoring average % or level, a level up unlocks more premium dolls with higher value so unlocks new dateable dolls in game .

It only confirmed with numbers what I experienced ever since high school more than 50 years ago.

Any younger women interested in me usually wanted one thing: a baby and a way to finance it. Older ones saw me as a way of topping up their retirement funds. Those I was interested in usually gave me the cold shoulder because they wanted someone who was a combination of James Bond and Justin Trudeau.

Yet, I was frequently reminded that I was unrealistic for wanting to meet someone who's fairly intelligent, well-educated, and reasonably attractive according to my standards.

Well it's quiet hard to pull off, i mean idealistically the game would be like world of warcraft but with dating and sophisticated AI and leaderboards, you try to date the sexdolls in the game but you have other males that might engage you in PVP to increase odds.
So you not only have to fight dragons , steal loot but also fight off other males who are after the doll.

Best players who win dolls get to put their scores with pictures of dolls they won playing to show off.

So conceptually you're trying to mimic competition in males to compete for sex but in video game form with the real element of the doll.

The pay to win element means your real life wealth plays into the game but i'd add some kind XP component to introduce diminishing returns for getting the dolls so more money has an effect but it gets smaller to deter over spending.

Regulations can be an issue since the real prize element and chance usually means you have to run under a gaming/gambling authority and players have to be verified as 18+ so you have to have servers, regulatory approval, licenses , top programmers etc costs $millions to set up.

There are a lot of dating sites these days. I've been to many. But after viewing reviews <removed, Rule 7> I found a site where I met unrealistically hot girls. What they did on camera was fire. Any desire can be fulfilled. I am never bored now.
