The beautiful YL 148D

Hello Doll lovers!
After lurking in this forum for nearly a year thinking and rethinking I finally bit the bullet about a month ago and ordered a YL 148 beaut from SSD. Here's my experience from ordering to getting her shipped to Singapore and it has been really smooth!

Ordering: I decided to go with sexysexdolls based on the feedback I saw on this forum. Isaac was wonderful. Patiently answered all questions, was prompt in his reply and even gave suggestions to a first timer like myself. I placed the order on 7th July. Isaac confirmed it and they had the doll ready within a week ready to be shipped. Fast and efficient!

Shipping/Customs: the doll was shipped on 21st and was delivered to me on 24th. Was expecting at least a week for the shipment to arrive but it just breezed through customs. The doll was well packed and no signs of damage. Although the delivery guy did complain about the weight

Overall experience:
I've had this doll for about 3 weeks now. The experience has been amazing. Well beyond what I was hoping from a tpe doll. But boy these things are heavy. For a beginner it's always good to go with a lightweight doll. I targeted for < 30 kgs I still expect the dead weight to be that heavy. But it's easy to get used to. I was afraid to stand her up on the first week only lying her in bed but eventually it gets easier to manage.
It's also fun to play dress up on the weekends

overall experience just brilliant!

YL 148D regular waist
Heads: YL 223, and wm 85
Standing feet
Colour: Caucasian (although now I'm thinking tan would've been better given the staining with dark clothes)

Hi congratulations on your new gal, the YL148D was my first too and I now have 3, Elizabeth, Astrid and Helena, they have their own thread now if you want to check them out. The 148D bod is a genuine classic and also happens to have one of the sweetest bottoms out their thanks to those wide hips. On the issue of standing there are a few things you can do to help as the 148 can be slightly 'tippy' so I find that if I ensure there's a slight curve in the spine before straightening the legs and then push the legs back so they are linned up with the spine, she will usually be ok. Feet also need to be at least shoulder width apart to keep her stable then rest her gently against a wall or piece of furniture. Most important is that the foot bolts are adjusted so they protrude from the bottom of the foot for about 1/4" and then slip on a pair of socks and some trainers (UK size 2), any that offer support at the ankle as well work best. You can, of course, stand her without the trainers in just socks but on a hard surface she could slip over, nearly all my dolls stand permanently so good fitting shoes are a must. Both those heads are lovely, I have an 85 myself but on another body, well have fun and don't forget to share pics!
