1:6 boats, where to find?

On her last trip Lexi stayed a few days in an apartment which had a 1:6 boat.

It was the coolest thing. Now I've been looking for one, but so far I've only found two model kits of the brand Midwest, nrs. 947 and 948. Of a skiff and a dinghy. See pics:

They look really nice. Unfortunately I also found that these are not made anymore, although I did find one store which seem to have it, but it also says "usually ships in 3-4 days," which usually means they don't have it on stock. The site has a blog with a last entry in 2013. And they have a Facebook page with a last entry of 2015. So I assume they're out of business, but nobody took down the website.

Anyway, if anyone here knows of a similar small boat that still is available, I'd be grateful to hear about it. Or if anyone konws any other forums where I might fin more about such boats. I did check some modelling forum, but they're all about bigger boats in smaller scales.

Oh, I also found a youtube video of someone building a similar boat, but in 1:12. It's a 20 minute video, but I found it nice to watch

And ofcourse Erika was thrilled about it

The picture is a bit small, but it's supposed to be 65cm long. It looks a bit canoo-like, so it should be alright. Although it may need some tweaking

It is a nice little boat, but only Lexi and Allison can go on it.

Wouldn't the big ones want a boat for themselves?

Yes we would, but there's only so much space and money.

Maybe find an "action man" boat of the 70s.
Or is it too small for you?
It can float and has a battery-powered motor
The picture may not be that clear but if you are interested I would like to take more

Actually the 1:6 models I posted in the first post, would be so cool. Then Lexi could build her own boat!

It looks like only one doll fits on there, but with a battery powered motor, that sounds awesome! So if you have more pics, I'd like to see them.

That would be something for Gizem.

Wouldn't that be like 20 meters long or so?

I have seen a remote Tiger-tank in 1:6. Kinda expensive though

Oh no, he would have to anchor at my place in Main. But for Gizem it would be big enough to ride on it.
Unfortunately Gizem also knows the tank. Since then Gizem and Verena try to calculate that I still owe them 1500 €.

For my birthday, JB exceptionally allowed me to go into the attic.
Under a ton of dust, I discovered a treasure there that I immediatly showed to the minis.

And the least we can say is that they were totally surprised, and even stunned by my discovery:

A small boat!

But, who is this doll? I've never see her before.
She look very old and, oh poor girl, abandonned since many years

She is covered by so much dust, it's a shame we should do something about her.

It looks like a single-seater racing boat, but the front has a very odd shape.
There are also numbers with what looks like interchangeable fins.
Look, there are even headlights and navigation lights.
But in addition, it is our size!

OK little captains, I will as JB if he can tell us more about this boat. Sure it should have an history and older than we imagine.

JB has just say that it has never been for sale, and will never be!
But I wonder were he got it

, I've never seen such model in shops.

First I see more and more mini dolls with their cars and I have to say to myself: no car, co car, co car.
And now a boat? Where will it end?

Just a thought. The boat in the first pic looks like a simple design. One ground plate, the heck plate, two slightly curved side plates and some support in the boat. With a little craftsmanship it might be possible to build such a boat yourself.
