The big day is finally here!

The Right Stuff - The race to conquer space

Episode VI - Destination moon

Cynthia is installed in her seat, alone with her destiny.
The position is uncomfortable, but it will not last as takeoff is now imminent.

So, again, the countdown is fast!
3..2..1..Ignition!

The acceleration is brutal, but she manages to control and steer the rocket.
She maneuvers in order to orient herself towards its final destination ...

...the MOON!

Protected by her helmet, she does not feel the supersonic shock and does not take long to leave the Earth's atmosphere.

Now, as the helmet is no longer needed, Cynthia takes the opportunity to admire the approaching lunar landscape.

Everything is going perfectly, the rocket is approaching the moon and she can now see all the craters very well.

When suddenly...
HOUSTON! we have a PROBLEM

What is happening? are we living in a tragedy? has there been a disaster?

I'm not going to leave you hanging around any longer, because you can't let go of a doll crying for help. So here is the last episode of this story.

The Right Stuff - The race to conquer space

Episode VII - Back to earth

"HOUSTON" er... I mean "IRIS, I have a problem"
The moon is gone, the rocket is out of control, I think the control surfaces are blocked by something.
Iris help!
HELP MEeeeeee...!

What? what do I hear?
Where are you?

What are you doing in the lamppost?

But how did you get there?
Stop playing acrobats, it's dangerous!

Cynthia: It's not our fault. It's the invisible wire that got tangled in the control surfaces and now it's stuck.
Prunelle and Saphira can not untie it.
Iris come to get us down! Pliiiiizzzz !

OK. Fortunately I was there to save them.
Everything ended well, everyone came back to earth safe and sound.
But I think I'll hide this rocket to avoid any further incident.

And now that I've finished talking about this adventure, I'm going to be able to go have a drink

I'm a bit confused

Cynthia was going to the moon, but the others ended up in the lamp (luckily Allison wasn't there to give a start signal, because she would probably have hit the lamp)

Did they have a rocket too?

@Bernadette: tell Allison to be careful with the Jägermeister.

No, Cynthia never went to the moon! :haha4:

They used LR techniques with images projected on the TV in the background. And the rocket was held by invisible nylon wires, manipulated by Prunelle and Saphira.
They have become the queens of special effects!

3D printers are now very common. They take up a bit of space and it takes a bit of experience to master them well, but it's a great tool to create items for minis.

The "microbes" haven't told you everything. This summer, they had already trained with a small camping table to build themselves. But they realized that it was really too small and too low when a Dinosaur came to see what was on the table
