Day 1: Trying the Arm & Hammer Advanced White technique first. Gonna leave it on for 24 hours. I'll be back tomorrow to update on results. Wish me luck.

I bought that too. That's tonight lol. How long did you leave it on for? Going to alternate for 4 days. I pretty much bought everything recommended.AtomicPunk wrote:Acne Cream w/ benzoyl peroxide worked great for Alita. Took about 2 days to fade.

It's certainly saved mine from staining and is also a good way to keep your doll cleanI like blondes wrote:I'm not even going to try that lol. No more cheaply made clothes, especially dark ones. I've been lucky so far up until that $10 old dress that was sitting in a box that I found lol

So I just removed all the toothpaste. Used a spatula lol & soap & water. The toothpaste seemed to soak up some of the dye, but there is still a lot of work to be done. It definitely has gotten lighter though. I'm going to wait til she dries & then I'm going to try method 2. Be back in a few.

Once she dried, I noticed some of the stains cleared up. Nice!! I am now using acne cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Only put it where needed.. Be back later.

Re: Black Stains From Clothing
Taking the acne cream off wasn't as easy to take off as with the toothpaste. It was pretty caked on. I had to use a sponge with soap & water this time around. All I can say is wow! The majority of the stains are gone. The biggest stain is barely there. I think one more round of toothpaste & maybe another round of acne cream, if I even need it, & she'll be all set.
Oh crap, forgot I need to do the other side now too lol
Or maybe ill do a photoshoot first then continue later lol. After powdering her up, you can hardly tell. I also suggest a Swiffer duster to powder you doll's whole body. Works great.

Alita's staining wasn't as widespread as yours, just a few square inches on her back and a small spot on her wrist. I stay away from black clothing, but her dress happened to have a black halter strap.I like blondes wrote:I bought that too. That's tonight lol. How long did you leave it on for? I'd put the cream on, wash it off after about 24 hours and re-apply. Even after it dried, it washed off pretty easy. I bought a "generic" brand at that was just fine.

+1 for the bodysuits, Ami loves them, she has 7... She's wearing one under her biker gear Avengers cosplay body harness... ...and the staining it caused. Not through the bodysuit tho'!PDutus wrote:One of the best ways to avoid staining in the first place is to put your girl in a body stocking or jumpsuit like this and then the black dress or whatever over that.

Or jeans:
I did treat this once with what I had left of my original stain remover, nowadays I just leave her to recover naturally. about 4 days later.
Try not to get too upset up about TPE staining, TPE will absorb most of the staining given time.

The stains on her backside are barely noticeable, & I should be able to get rid of that in one session.
Here are pictures from the shoot I just did. Can't even notice.
