141 on the way

Post by Mrcabinet32 »

Hey guys, looking for some basic tips, i just ordered a 141 and have a few questions:

1. I’ve done some research on opening the box, filming the opening, inspecting for damage, etc. once I get past that, how should I do the initial cleaning? It’s a TPE doll.

2. How should I prevent cracking in the skin long term? I’ve heard periodically applying a light coat of baby oil to the body helps. Anything else?

3. As far as light modifications go, is nail polish and temporary tattoos acceptable for TPE?

4. Should i use only water based lubricants for LHs, or is Baby oil good for that as well?

Thanks, appreciate it.

Gentle hand soap for cleaning, there is some debate over how often/if you should oil but the consensus seems to be "occasionally," not sure about nail polish, peopple have had success with tattoos but be careful, baby oil is fine for lube sometimes especially if you are not able to always dry completely, water based is safest for the TPE but must be dried to avoid mold. Congratulations on your new girl. (PS These are mostly just my opinions, other members have more experience than me with YL dolls and I defer to them)
