That's a beautiful wig. I didn't know they made them that long.

This was the hair straight out of the package. For reference, Arachne is 5'3".

It was pretty much unmanageable and I got it trimmed down, as well as the bangs cut. Ultimately this wig is meant for Arachne's 'cosplay' of her Pathfinder character origins.

It is still pretty unmanageable, but it's shorter now! This shot was done before it was cut and I really enjoyed doing it!

Thanks Pete! Of those two I've always liked the second one in particular. The way the light plays on her hip and stomach to show off the curves of her body really appeal to me. Pretty sure that was natural light from the window, so unplanned and probably gone a moment later as the light shifted.

Even though the wig was trimmed it's still plenty long. I should really do a shoot like that again...

Good luck MX-V with your repairs, i have a similar philosophy trying to rework and repurpose, your creativity is why were all here. I have been playing around with AI a little bit but haven't been able to figure out how to get the results im after,seems like it can't keep up to my imagination haha.any tips or programs you use?

I got an invitation to work with dalle-e 3 and I have no patience for reading the book on the prompts to generate images. It's easier just to find images in Google.
In designing, I like to draw. I'm old school.

One thought I wanted to share...
This is just my opinion so if I offend anyone, oh well.
I see creativity dying. In artistry and music.
Style and originality is another thing that's going away.
These are all principles in making life better, in some way. I just wanted to say I'm glad that this thread goes on. I often think of the creativity of the designers and manufacturers of dolls. And how I want to shake their hand and tell them how grateful I am for their creativity.
My life and happiness have greatly been improved.

I just have to share this one picture. Yesterday I started work with another product for costumes. Loctite insulation foam for gaps and cracks.
Key things. Cover area with plastic wrap. Spray with water. Wait 4 minutes or a little more. Slowly pack down and shape with hands. Dries in an hour. Cut or sand easily.
Great for a base for a costume.
This was done in less than a day.
More to come when it's all finished and painted.
For now, The Lunar Maiden...

Rev, don't worry, I've thought about this several times. Am I making these creations or am I channeling the God of dolls desires.
And for a while, I thought yes I am channeling those dolls desires, they want me to build these creations. Then I sobered up and realized I am just working from my great cache of porn and sci-fi costumes. Fusing my inner child's desire of accessories for Major Matt Mason (Yes, I am that old) and an adults frustration of being with beautiful women that all refused to wear any sort of seductive circus costumes that were caused by a tidal wave of early puberty after wonderfully bumping into a beautiful brunette curvy Boat Show model wearing a blue sequined bikini and high heels.
I am merely a pervy Sculptor. An artist at heart frustrated for years of having to have a real job light years from any sort of artistry instead. But now Unleashed, I can make my creations locked in my dank basement that I call my mind...

Sometimes kineticism can inspire Divine creativity. I sincerely appreciate you all.
Knowing that there are similar like-minded persons in the world help me so much.
I truly hope that I can Inspire and teach others in return.
Sometimes in my past creations I realized that I was just trying to show off.
And remembering long ago experiences in Art School, I remember a professor telling me "do what you want, not what others want you to do".
In a most wonderful moment after he said that, I clumsily blurted out my own bit of prophetic wisdom that I came up from the night before when my girlfriend took me to a drag queen show.
"When in doubt, it probably sticks out".
His confused and nonplussed expression was enigmatic. Thus seeding my dad's suggestion of saying, you might need to get a real job.

Now for today's submissions for inspiration.

I went off on too many other tangents to answer your question. Think of it this way, Hugh hefner, Larry Flynt, the inventor of the bra, the inventor of high heels, the inventors of sex dolls, all were men. Never do I think about them. I appreciate their contributions very much. Philosophically it's very strange to think about it all.
FYI, my insides are probably rotten. So I wouldn't go for the liver. Now my brain might be tasty. Probably tastes somewhere in between cotton candy and Sea Urchin.

I have so many ideas for creations, so many hopes of others creating unusual works.
I try to also think of what others want.
And just for fun and if you're still reading this, please post an idea of what you'd love to see made into a doll. My tastes run from bizarre to extreme. I'd love to see a Whoville face on a doll and also a Sil doll from the movie Species.

I thought about asking the moderator for a fantasy doll section on this site. So that we could have specific topics for monster dolls, cosplay dolls, and alien dolls . And my favorite, elf dolls.. But from what I can see on the recent posts there is more of a focus on new dolls and more realistic dolls. Don't get me wrong, that's not a complaint. Just an observation.

The reason I didn't comment on the transformer girls is because my hands were occupied and my keyboard mysteriously sticky.
They are one of my ideals. The robot/girl synthesis has run deep in my blackened soul from Metropolis to Buck Rogers to westworld. Thank God I was older when Gundam Hentai was discovered.
