It is quite a conundrum, in no way do i endorse cutting into the TPE for mods. I have had the same experience with openings i have made for skeleton surgery not being able to close them back up.I am only considering the magnets in the skull because they would be easier to conceal and may offer a solution to the attachment problem.They would have to be powerful to work, How good would it be as an option installed by the factory?
Or how about a attachment point for tails from the factory as a option? It is the only way i see it working like i want, same goes for wings higher up the spine.
I have also thought about plugs in the TPE to axcess joints for adjustment/repair, as options there is money to be made i think but i have been frustrated with any kind of innovation over the last few years

Robot build is coming along nice, i am most interested in the lighting built into the forearm bracer, I have been trying to incorporate lighting into my build but am having difficulty making it look good. It appears fine to my eye but is way too bright when taking pics washing out the details i can see in person
The teeth and tongue look good as well,i know how tricky these can be after many attempts at making my own

I hope you do well in the photo contest, i would be interested but have no idea about them? sounds cool and fun!

Everyone should know about the photo contests! They're a lot of fun! You can find that forum here: viewforum.php?f=119

Rules for each contest are in the first post of their thread. Cat A and B are general and open to any doll. Cat C is the gif challenge. Cat D is Composite, something has to be added to the photo. Cat E is for mini dolls and Cat Fab is for fabric dolls. All of the current contests are stickied and end 3 days before the end of the month. The last three days are for voting (open to all site members whether they entered or not). The winner picks the challenge for the next month.

I have a lot of fun coming up with ideas to match the prompts and encourage others to join in! There's still time to get involved this month!

I like the photo contests.
But I know that sometimes my work and ideas are a little out there. There are many talented photographers that do great work on here. I know I'm more of a costume designer than a photographer.
And I'm not into competing now but as I've said, I do like to participate every now and then.

And I'm proud to say my latest fantasy work involves Dr. MX, administrator for the school for Wayward girls is waiting to see the very naughty T'ai Enna after class...

Love the eyes, you have LEDs behind them?
The tape lines make me think, how can we make them circuits? If those could be made like this

Holly's eyes...so cool. And I love the detail of the build.

Rev, first thought of the detail of the circuits...
Print the circuits, try different papers, maybe photo paper, place on oiled tpe.
Kind of like temporary tattoos.
(Reality: make a forking mess, cuss MX out, search online for temporary circuit tattoos online)

Arachne just made me produce a low pitched growl. Love that outfit on her.

Yep i do have lights built into the eyes,old ones i had from my aquarium from years ago.Same green ones that are perched on Hollys shoulder from her alien eyes build a few pages back.

I wish those were tape lines RevJack but it is ribbon. I am going for a circuit look for the cyborg style

The drow goth is on a new level, her outfit is stellar agent0013

There is alot of detail i did with the eye makeup that doesn't show up in pics but i agree with MX-V about them looking cool, the lights in the eyes is a challenge to photograph and blocks out the eye make up

Still trying out new tweaks but getting closer

I have never tried out temp tattoos but i have saw a few in the forums, gotta say they look good. I assume they work similar to the eyebrow stickers i use
Always nice to get tips and tricks!

Been kinda quiet so i figured i would post Holly's progress
I used a couple of headbands for the headpiece to try and solve some of the attachment dilemma, the weight is alot to hold well.
