Repairing faided eyebrows?

Post by Doll_Banger »

Hey folks, can you share with me "what" you use to repair faded eyebrows on TPE dolls? Thanks.

On one, I just implanted them with synthetic hairs. On another one, plus any facial hair/body hair I have added, I use one of those thin bristle nail art brushes and some black powder eyeshadow.
I love and have loved many dolls.

I have a similar problem with my Brooklyn RD. I simply use a Sharpie to fill in the bits that have been rubbed off. For one thing, if I use a bit too much, I can easily wipe off the excess if I do it quickly. Second, if I do make a mistake, I can fix it within a few weeks as the eyebrows will have to be redone. It's cheap, quick, and the results look pretty good. She's happy and I'm happy. :)

For new owners: this owner's doll is silicone. Do not use markers on TPE dolls unless you have checked it will not damage or permanently stain the TPE.

Good point. I checked to see if using the Sharpie would work on an older doll that wasn't in as good shape. Even if that other one hadn't been available, I could have checked it by using it on an obscure location, such as a small spot on the feet.

Temporary Tattoo Eyebrows or Eyebrow Pencils are really fast and easy solutions. Another option is using graphite powder. The advantage of this solution is that you can do thin lines like the manufacturers do. Just use a little powder and mix it with a few water drops, then you can apply it with a small brush. I'm sending you a video on how to do it.

Hope it helps
