EXPORTING PM's

Post by midiman »

Is there any way to export private messages other than copy and paste one at a time. I have to do some cleanup to make room for more but don't want to delete anything as yet.

Same goes for the saved category.

That puts them in your save box which appears to still be on the forum as it is limited for space.

I needed to go back and get Bill's address so I could send him the $25 donation I promised during a moment of guilt over the POLL invasion :)

I probably save way to much and should go back and just start deleting but I hate limits (although necessary on forums this big)

You bein' funny or is that where donations go for real?
Just did my tax return couple days ago, will get back a
third of a Doll,so am willing to toss some in the TDF
offering plate and maybe buy a toy from the store:D

DUH,clicked "make donation" it is so.Check should be
payable to William Copeland and noted as TDF donation?
Will probably make donation online with card.

lovrmakr1,

Donations and the store income all go to support the server and software. The Doll Forum is all about dolls and all the money donated goes to the server rent and domain registration. Mytime offers his technical skills for free as many others members offer their time to keep the love for dolls going. I love them all and couldn't do it without them.
This site is for the consumer but I support the manufacturer who can realize the dream.

Hey Bill,

Could you shed a little light on ability to export one's PM to own hard drive?

I suppose the only way one could do this is to offer their services as a system/technical level support person so he'd have access to the data files :)

Oh, well. maybe someday. Until then, I'll putter around with some of this stuff and set up PHP on the TeddyBabe Chronicles - even if there are only 20 or so potential members :) I need the practice. But the Coppermine Gallery was a breeze.

Take a close look at all your options. The Leeloo seems to be picking up speed as a strong contender to the Realdoll and at a better price, although she makes me think of the girl next door type rather than the fashion mode.

Of course, had I ever been able to get the girl next door to me in bed 20 years ago I'd have been in 7th Heaven :)

Midi,
For me it was the girl across the street, she's so sweet.

Yes the Leeloo is a top contender with better materials,
a robust figure not quite rubenesque(I prefer petiteish),
and frankly great breasts, butt and very desireable labia
detail, not to mention a rust free skelleton?
With Realdolls one can enjoy greater choices in features
(faces, bodies, etc) allowing one to feel your Doll is one of
a kind, its own personality so to speak.A couple things
that bug me about RD's is the chin to neck gap when head
tilted back, the neck tendons are overpronounced and out
of true location(a womans neck tendons are huge turn on
to me (Leeloo's hardly have any which is better than too
much and out of place)),and labia should'nt gape wide
open as soon as legs start to open exposing white interior
(should be pink(insert would solve those problems)).
All said,I think photogenically RD's are better choice,a
tough decision was had 'buy all'!

I turn 47 today, and in three more posts will become an
' Old Geezer Member ' according to info gleaned from
Starion's post(thread)"How do you become a member of TDF?"
So my 150th post will be on that thread,I figure what the heck 8)
see if it works!

Wow, you're an old geezer already for the knowledge you carry :)

Happy Birthday! I am 53. I wonder what the average age is of members on this forum. I'm beginning to think it is higher than I originally thought. I've made a couple of interesting friends since I joined the forum and am on a first name basis and phone. One is mid 40's and one is 67. Also met a talented doll designer and he is 67. So even if at 150 posts they call us the old geezers, I would hazzard a guess that by average age we are the youngsters :)

Frankly the only title on this forum that bugged me was Lurker...now that was incentive to get my posts up :)

Midiman,

FINE,here it is,post #150,I wonder if I'll feel different :D

Thanks for the BD and the GEEZER thing

Youngsters?I bet the average age will plumet as the younger
crowd discovers these things and makes it more sheik/hip
to own one(how long before dealerships spring up?)Hmmm.

Oh yeah, the Lurker thing bu 8O ed me also.

You know...our last several posts to this thread have strayed
way off the original topic, someone started it to find a way to
export PM's.I half expect an administative slap any second :D
These posts are like a bunch of PM's,LOL.

The age thing has me down at the moment, having laid to rest
a friend 12 hours ago.She was a great gal and mother, 51 years
years young, taken by fast moving cancer discovered month ago.

Well it's 4:15 on 4/15, time to post.

Edit: Woohoo it worked,but I don't feel any different,maybe a
little wiser, and had to take a monster wiz after all the typing :D

Now I must go upstairs as Jazzy is waiting to give me my 47
birthday lashes, and I don't mean eye lashes  she
wields a mean whip, can knock a flea off a dogs ass from a mile
away :D
Image
She gets them ideas from that thar Cosmo mag she subscribes to  ^
