Thanks Studio, as it turned out yesterday basically marked the end of our last gasp of summer so I was lucky to squeeze in a few pics of Nicky outside. Today the gazebo came down in preparation for a week of rain and wind so it will most likely be indoor pics from now on!

My Irontech 'Penny' head in silicone has just arrived and I have to say that I'm rather impressed! Not that I have much experience with silicone having only another 2 silicone heads but this new one from IT is rather beautiful. I believe it's in their brown skin tone and has implanted eye brows and lashes along with a nice pair of spring loaded, veined eyes. I now just need to locate a suitable bod for her!

Penny is very realistic! Irontech sure is hitting some high marks in my book lately!

Hi, yeah I agree, I suspect this head is now one of the best I have in terms of realism, I just need to sort her out an appropriate bod, unfortunately the IT 159 I had hoped to use isn't a good skin tone match so I may have to dig deep and treat her to a new bod if I want to do this lovely head justice...

Turns out that I did have a compatible body here that's in tan, I'd forgotten that Jing-Wei's IT154 is in that skin tone so I've just tried it out and it's certainly the best match I have so far although in the long run I'd like to see this new gal a little taller, also I don't want to keep Jing- Wei benched for too long!

Thanks, me too, she was already on my wish list and when I saw the silicone version I was hooked! I shall be keeping an eye out for a slightly taller IT bod for her but for now she will have to manage with Jing-Wei's IT154 which is actually a nice little bod although more suited to Jing-Wei.

We are experiencing some very unseasonably warm and sunny weather here in much of the UK this weekend with temps of around 25c so a good excuse to pop new gal Mel into a summery dress and introduce her to the garden for a few pics. Here she is in the lounge having just got changed, must say taking pics of a silicone head again just makes me want more! I just love the detail you get!

I had a lovely afternoon out in the garden with Melissa, the sun was blazing down but we had plenty of shadow and my speedlite to even out the light. While I'm keen to see Mel with a taller bod, today I was grateful for the IT154 she's currently using as it's nice and light, well balanced and poses well. I rattled off over 100 shots and got a surprisingly high number of decent pics, there's no denying that these new silicone heads do photograph really well and there's minimal shine, I haven't even bothered to powder her face at all. So here's a smattering of our efforts today......

More Mel! Yeah I know it's a lot of pics but I couldn't help myself as she's so photogenic, lord help me when I get around to doing a lingerie shoot with her!
