Open bugs

• Inline images disrupt some bbcodes like size, color and a few more.
  The old behaviour will not come back. The phpBB developers made big changes to generate more strict HTML code.
  But we will try to find a way to fix old posts.

Tsall, I overall love the new changes! and greatly appreciate the efforts you and the team have been doing to fix and implement the requests of the members.

This one bug is something that affects me personally and the only thing I can think of is somehow to let the thread originator go back and edit their posts, manually correcting the code.

It’s something that would be worth the time and effort for me but maybe most wouldn’t care. Adding some [ i] and the like here and there where needed might be the simplest way to make it all pretty again… lol

I certainly can live without it however. It’s not as if all my posts just disappeared…

- Avatar placement! This is something many of us hoped for, and you delivered. Thanks again.

YungSynth - I completely agree with your post. The site is looking very good, and the great effort put in by Tsall and others is greatly appreciated.

I mentioned this before, not sure if it was here or another sub. I'm really not digging the missing "visited links" indicator. In the old version the colour of the link changes to show you've already seen that post. After browsing this site for a while since the upgrade, I'm finding that I don't want to visit anymore.

Slamjut , I'm sorry, we must have overseen this.
The topic color indeed does no longer indicate if you have seen the last post or not. But the topic icon still indicates it. Yellow => read, blue => unread.

Similar with posts. Those that are read wave a small grey icon before the title and red for the unread posts.

LOL Thanks, Thought I clicked something and changed my menu somehow. My web page was prior to this update. I clicked Quick Links and then thought I mis-clicked as my menu bar changed.

I was functioning okay with the hamburger icon, but I definitely appreciate not having to use that drop-down list for one of these selections. This is as useful as a bookmark bar in a web browser, versus having to use a bookmark list - very nice.

Thanks for letting me know. That works.

Probably too much to ask but it would be nice to be able to have the ability to filter out threads by hiding them from the "New Posts" section so I don't have to see them again. Kind of like how you can hide channels in Discord.

The image file name and size looks a bit odd when attached to a post. I am sure it wasn't there after the initial cross over.

It seems images hosted from the doll album are disappearing after a couple days, this image showed fine after it was posted but has now disappeared, there is just a little black box where a photo should show, this is happening on quite a few of my posts

@Slamjut: I've seen request like this in the past and I'm sorry, but a functionality like this doesn't exist.


@Joe 90: You are partly right, after the upgrade the file names and view count of attached images where not displayed except for smaller images.
The old system displayed them all the time, people where missing the view count, so we re-added them.


@Dees luver: your images from Dollalbum are loading fine for me (Firefox). Including the one missing in your screen shot.
But I see something that my cause the error. You linked to the unencryped URL on Dollalbum:

Please use the link with encryption:

It's just a missing s.

Browsers more and more disallow unencrypted images embedded into an encrypted site.

Thank you Nescio! Yes it could be my iPad, I’ve done an iOS update and rebooted everything, problem still persists here but it looks like Tsall may be onto the problem, this is weird…

I use the forum on my iPad Pro latest gen, you are correct, I use a shortcut when I embed a pic from the doll album and I didn’t have the s included, however it still showed on some photos posted with the same url back to back

I posted a doll for sale today, April 19th, at 3:15pm. It is now 8pm EST and still hasn't been approved. I don't remember it taking this long before. What's up?
