There is a problem with readability in the new version when using at least some themes other than the default chrome theme.

For me, this is using Chrome with the "morpheon dark theme". (it can happen in other ways with other themes) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... hpaepjknad

When looking at any forum page that lists topics or subforums, it is only possible to read any of them if you hover your mouse over them. Until you do that, the background is so close to the text shade/lightness/color that the text cannot be read. Ctrl-A to select all text/etc also highlights all the text in lighter color with medium-dark blue around it, but you have to manually do that with every page.

Neither way is nearly as readable as the old theme.

This makes it extremely difficult to look through any of the lists of topics or subforums.

When actually in a topic, it is fine. It is just in the lists of topics in forums and subforums.

Theoretically just changing themes when on TDF could fix this, but it would have to be done every time i visit TDF, because I need the dark theme for all the other sites I use so I can see them properly. Unfortunately changing themes in chrome is a task in itself, there's no simple button to switch from one to another (except to reset to the default if you change from it): you have to go to the store and search for the theme you want and then install it, for each and every theme change you want to make. It does not remember what theme you had last, that's thrown away completely whenever you change to a new one, so there's no easy way to do it at all. So I can't fix it in the browser.

I did try some view-modification plugins in chrome, like Ublock Origin, but cant' find a specific thing that I understand how it works to block that does anything about it. I can make other stuff on the page go away, but not this problem; whatever is going on appears to be either in the CSS or the scripting, and both of those are beyond me.

I was going to try a different PHPBB theme, but it looks like TDF doesn't have any options for this in the UCP like other PHPBB-based forums I've seen do.

So TDF, being the one site that is significantly less usable with the theme, would be the site I'd visit less if this isnt' a fixable issue.

(I don't visit every day or even every week, and it's not like I'm your target user anyway, so I understand if this is not something you can fix).

@Kaori Kusanagi: I'm sorry, but please understand that we can't support external tools that modify the look and feel of this website.

I know the wish of a dark theme and I did some experiments myself. With not so nice outcome. It is on the list, but no idea if and when it will happen.

Try the chrome built in "night mode". I've been using it with no issues. It works so well in fact I thought it was a forum option

Same as in the old system. Just subscribe to the topic. The function is at the top and bottom of every topic.

In the User Control Panel (UCP) under Board preferences > Edit notification options you can configure board notifications and emails for such events. Please have in mind that the systems sends only one mail per topic or forum, not for every new post.

Hello. I noticed the link to the doll album on the index page goes strait to a blank screen on my Mac. Had to use the "register here" button to sneak in thru the back door. This has been going on for a few days, at least long enough for me to mention it.

Could it be that your browser does not allow redirection? How about the other links (redirections) on the Index page, like the ones to CoverDoll and The Doll Harem?
