Kiku arrived this afternoon and I'm just glad I was home since I was expecting her tomorrow (Friday 24th). She's a CJ Smart Doll, Mirai, ordered from the Tokyo store and was brought here via DHL. Everything was intact and way more cool than I expected...she's hangin' out with me as I begin to build this thread lol. Biographical info coming 'soon'.

I have to go check on her soon, actually sooner...apparently she's seeking the great serpent yokai (monster) inhabiting our house. I heard digging a little while ago...

Just make sure the digging sounds you hear are not those of a grave being dug. I am sure Kiku-hime is a loving member of your domain but it is always better to be safe then sorry when first getting to know a new companion.

Thanks, good advice! She was actually using a large spoon to dig through a large glass container of granulated sugar...the countertop as a mess and my baking supplies all askew...so someone is currently occupying the 'Corner of Shame' (Time-out corner).

No, not the corner of shame. Kiku was probably just searching for something magically delicious. What's a little spilled sugar compared to the alternative. Kiku is just sweet at heart and should be forgiven.

Luckily it was only about six kilograms of sugar, with a large spoon as a shovel. The two miscreants were sentenced accordingly, but due to overcrowding, they shared the shame chair...

Oh my, will they make it to the steps? If they do, what is in the shrine at the top of the steps? Will it be salvation or will the quest continue?

I'm not sure what all was happening...the vacuum quit and I was checking out the power head...then there was silence, followed quickly by someone shouting, and the time-out buzzer went off...all hell broke loose!
