163cm F cup Doll's Castle
After thinking about getting a butt/torso toy for a while, I got sucked into the doll realm. I checked a number of vendors and decided my best option for my price range was to get an in stock doll from YourDoll. I went with the "163cm (5ft4) F cup Blonde Nikky" model from Doll's Castle and just over a week later she arrived.
I'm going to refrain from ranting about FedEx (my least favorite parcel delivery service), but I will note that there was some damage to the container. One end of the package was basically open, and the neck bolt had actually punched straight through the box and the piece of wood they put on the end. Thankfully, there was no damage to the doll. Not sure what happened with the nipples, but all of the areola color seems to have rubbed off. I may reapply it later, I may not. I like lighter pink nipples anyway. There is also a discoloration just under the left eye. I do have a couple major(ish) concerns, however. First, and I don't have a picture of this, but after just a few uses the left wrist has gone as limp as a... never mind. It's loose, is what I'm trying to say. I don't think I'll be doing to much posing for photography with her, but still. It would be nice for that not to happen on a less-than-day-old doll.
Second is something I would really like some advice on. There is a big gap on the right side of her neck when the head is screwed on, and unless I turn the head almost backwards, it won't stay in once place for posing (it just swivels on the bolt). Three things are contributing to this. First, the bolt receiver on the body comes out of the neck at a slight angle. Second the receiver on the head is drilled at the same angle, which compounds the effect. Third, the head receiver has not been tapped deep enough for the entire bolt (or I suppose you could say the bolt is too big, half a dozen of one, etc.). I do really like the face though. When I ordered her I was worried that her nose would end up too big, but it looks very nice in person (yes, I will fix that eyelash). I'm going to have to do more research on wigs. I had no idea what I was doing and almost immediately tangled up the long blonde wig that she came with. That's fine though because I prefer a gal in a pixie cut. I just with her head would stay in place and not at an angle with a huge gap! More review and photos to follow....

It looks like the bolt is to long and the head is not seating properly on the neck.
Will it thread deeper into the head?

Thank you. That's exactly what the problem is. That's as far as the bolt will go. Not sure what I should do about it. I suppose I could as the manufacturer what size connecter that is and get a shorter one.Musiclover wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 10:37 pm She looks great congratulations.

How do the heads on your dolls sit? Do they stay in place (and face forward) when they are screwed all the way in? Or do they sort of spin freely?
Yeah, that's a good idea. Doesn't help with the gap though.

But they seat properly to the bottom.
And when seated at the right depth they will turn but not easily

Thank you. Good to know the size. Maybe I can find a shorter one online somewhere.Musiclover wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 10:54 pm 2 of the 8 heads that I got have that same m12 to m16 bolt,

Sorry I haven't finished this review, but I've been under the weather. I will post more over the weekend.
