DS Doll - a long heritage

It's with great pleasure that I see DS or EX as known in China apparently re-entering the sexdoll market with their new Evelyn - viewtopic.php?t=160479

Since 2012 when Chloe viewtopic.php?f=143&t=53784 and viewtopic.php?f=143&t=65018 in France and Aira viewtopic.php?f=143&t=53715 were made, there wasn't a lot of competition around. 4Woods and the American brands were all the rage and DS brought silicone dolls into a more affordable arena. Chloé inspired a book https://www.the-doll-house.com/Chloe-by-Haremlover and part of a documentary about sex-robots of which https://youtu.be/tANvUqnY8wE is an extract in which she shows how very cooperative she is as a photo-model.

Aira was of a harder silicone and more suited only to photography whilst Chloe was an experimental soft silicone, and rather more "cooperative" where perhaps readers of this forum might expect.

The DS 158+ was the first really pleasurable sexdoll, viewtopic.php?t=68438 with soft silicone and a lovely tactile feel. This was subsequently upgraded to gel buttocks, a doll I bought for my father who sadly didn't appreciate her, but such is life . . .

The 167 was the most tactile and photographically cooperative doll https://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/2513 and with Tyra head viewtopic.php?f=143&t=100085 and who is so wonderful to pose and move it was possible to manoeuvre her in the dark in the early hours of the morning by moonlight https://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/2939 . Whilst soft and with wonderful breasts, sex really wasn't possible but she was so good for photography, her sins were forgiven. Her orifice just wasn't large enough. DS made her for me with a bolt in her heel for standing and this has made such a difference in being able to pose her with confidence.

The EVO was a brilliant doll, very tactile, and very realistic, but sex was low on her priority list with an orifice which was too small.

The new, softer material can also be selected for Jie and the rest of the Realclone line, of which there are a few new models. Some better pricing as well on some of those. So, they are indeed trying to make a statement. Which is wonderful to see, as they still have some of my most wanted dolls. The skeleton and realism just puts them in another class for me.

It's a great pleasure to see more activity coming forward from DS / EX in the doll world.

Other companies have come forward in the top tier but with the focus of EX now in the arena of softer silicone and fit-for-purpose sexdoll manufacturing, Rolls Royce or perhaps Bosendorfer might be the brand comparables in different fields.

It's thanks to DS / EX that over the years I've been enabled to take some favourite photos.

Very nice write up HaremLover,
They have a nice lineup with a tendency towards the Asian look. Not a bad thing as many of us enjoy that look.
But until they figure out how to get "good" photos out and better reviews and a chatter going here and on other social media. They will remain a slow horse out of the gate. I guess they are happy with what they have as a customer base.All well and good, but they need more chatter, maybe they have it in the Asian market, just not in the US.

Their website although nice is 100% lacking in information , and quality and number of photos is very much lacking.
It is never a good idea to base you image on poor photos no matter how good the intentions.

They are on my radar and pricing is good. Just not sold on then as of yet.

It's nice to see these pictures again (I discovered them a little more than a year ago while searching through the albums and threads posted long before I discovered TDF).

So many outings and adventures for these dolls! I bet they are the only dolls to have been driven around in a Bugatti (and probably also in the subway ).

It's worth mentioning that the new 158plus was actually modelled on a real lady, a porn star lady with "Japanese legs". This meant that they had to lengthen the doll legs as shortness of lower leg can be a regional characteristic and she achieved elegance

When looking at DS / EX recent threads their new dolls are a world away but the 158plus was one of the first to find greater life-realism

might possibly be the rarest head of all.

with a skeleton giving precision of positioning


and electrifying

as a tourguide

modelling

or mowing the grass




With an engaging doll-face

she'd go anywhere

and be in demand for professional modelling as Kayla

whilst with anorexia

not requiring expensive lunches on location


This model was reclassified as the 163 when the more voluptuous 167 came along

Nice thread. I have always admired DS from afar but have never had the pleasure of seeing one in real life.

The new 167 was criticised by a vendor for being too heavy at around 37kgs or so, and I took him to task . . . With a doll who has a bit more flesh on her, weight equals silicone equals softness. Foam can be and is used to reduce weight, but it can be harder, so one has a soft silicone layer over harder foam, as well as foam giving fragility. It's great under compression but not tension so can break if limbs are moved too far. I also suspect that it may limit doll lifetime as PU foam in other contexts lasts 17 years. As a result I'm not hassled by a doll being a little bit heavier on account of being more silicone and less foam.

DS very kindly put a bolt in the heel of my lady and to this day she's my go-to model for photography

Other heads came along and Tyra was intended to be African - but in European skin colour, became a supermodel

Contemporary with the 167 was Herman, DS's first man.

Being a straight guy I don't know about sex, but as a model he's brilliant.

He was expecting a great time among my ladies but Tyra wasn't going to have any of that and told Herman

where to put himself and eventually

causing great frustration by the lack of use of his tools and making PDE5 inhibitors redundant.

Beyond being cameraman

he's applied for a few job interviews, thankfully finding himself to be the only interviewee

and soon found other tools to use more productively

with his willingness for practical tasks

endearing him to human ladies
