I would be interested to know what inserts you replaced it with and how you removed the original ones.infl8orama wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 10:51 pm Once I've found and fixed the leak, if I can, I think she'll be a cuddle doll, though if I can find inserts that are more compatible with me...and with vinyl. Vinyl-friendly inserts and the lack thereof could be their own topic.

At this point, I'm not sure I'm going to replace the inserts. If I can repair the doll, I may just leave her as-is.Joe 90 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 12:13 pmI would be interested to know what inserts you replaced it with and how you removed the original ones.infl8orama wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 10:51 pm Once I've found and fixed the leak, if I can, I think she'll be a cuddle doll, though if I can find inserts that are more compatible with me...and with vinyl. Honestly, I just carefully peeled the ends of the inserts off both the ends of the openings with my hands where the adhesive met the toy. Sadly, as with most such toys, the vinyl underneath has hardened and de-plasticized, so I'm exploring options to recondition it. Any suggestions?

Not sure how you would soften Vinyl within a cavity. I have heard that mineral / baby oil can soften PVC but I don't know how much it has hardened.infl8orama wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 10:51 pm the vinyl underneath has hardened and de-plasticized, so I'm exploring options to recondition it. I was wondering if you found the leak with soapy water. The VLC adhesive I used hardened on contact and seemed to seal a small hole even without the patch.
Any pics of the problem. Maybe a separate post and title may get the info and help you require.

Thus, in case of a puncture, one would only have to change the inner body (for a very low cost) while keeping everything else.

There are some Japanese Dolls that come with an external covering. A poster was made here of them by Dollman.4891d wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 6:31 pm While we are on the subject of the technology of inflatable dolls, do you think that an external envelope made of soft and solid material (a kind of textile) could be used to support the head, the feet and the hands, with an inflatable vinyl body of the same dimensions inside?

As for stuffing an inflatable body within a more solid textile body. I would of thought that there would be a risk of a seam splitting before you inflate it.

I haven’t even had a chance to work on it since removing the inserts. It’s exceptionally unlikely I’m going to be able to get a pic of the leak itself, since it’s in the middle of the tunnel, not at either end.Joe 90 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 6:07 pmNot sure how you would soften Vinyl within a cavity. I’ll consider posting about replasticizing in a new thread.
I would love to see a doll manufacturer figure out inserts that feel good and don’t ruin vinyl.

Worst case, it’s too effective,
Either way, the body will be pretty nice if fixed, and the head is cute.

My order has arrived. I have received my body, the head will follow as they were packaged separately.infl8orama wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 5:56 pm

But I can confirm that the heads of the LoveandVibes rotating head series do fit, it should work vice versa. Therefore, a body obtained by them can also be used. It is another option if all else fails.
Below are the dolls available on the UK website. The bodies can be seperated from the heads. I did a head/body swap with my doll Angela.

I will come back to this doll later as I would like to give infl8orama a chance to review this doll as he was the first of us to purchase it.
The dolls body is shown only partially inflated here.

Does anyone know the name of the soft foamy fabric shown that these doll's heads are wrapped in. They were damaged during de-packaging and I would like to replace them to protect the heads.

Re: Inflatable doll with a TPE head 🖊️
Personally, as far as I have been able to
research and understand some things,
it seems to me that "TPE Head" is
too heavy for any of the Air-Girls....
The moving "Rotating-Head" series
of girls are realy Amazing!
I think it would be good for manufacturers to go
in the direction of "Removable PVC Head",
to keep the best body structures in production,
and just to add new body versions in the "Hi-End" series
with new body positions, such as doggystyle..
