Meet Harley!
Meet Harley!
I prefer this other top, so I swapped them before he laid back down in bed…
The next morning, you can tell he really didn’t want me to leave for class
That’s all for now, but I’m sure he’ll insist that I share more in the near future! Hopefully I’ve figured out how to do pictures correctly.

Your choice of colors and smiling photos show Harley's personality very well in these.

Thank you for your kind words! I imagine Ash could pull the look off too, as I've seen plenty of dudes on my Instagram feed with similar upper body muscles make it work. Maybe choose a baggy top to make the muscles less obvious?MyAbsoluteBoyfriend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 2:12 am Welcome to TDF Harley! He's really cute (I am a little biased to that hairstyle and color ). I think feminine works quite well on guys too and breaks the gender stereotypes... You're giving me a strange urge to want to try that style on Ash; though I don't know if he would appreciate it, or pull it off as well, because his body type is a bit more muscular in the upper chest and shoulders than your Harley.

As for the staining, I haven't had any problems. I've had Harley for nearly 4 months, and the only stains he's ever had are on the top and back of his head because of the black wig. I will comment that most of his clothes are actually my clothes (perks of being gay and having the same body type), so they've gotten plenty of washes. Also, according to my research, synthetic fabrics like polyester don't bleed colors as much, so much of what he wears is polyester. In the case of the colorful striped top he's wearing in the last couple pics, the colors are only on the outside. The inside layer of fabric is white, so it should be safe.
Oh, btw, I wanted to say that your story with Ash that you've shared on his thread is truly inspirational. I am particularly impressed with how realistic Ash's face looks close up. I will admit Harley looks better from further away, and his eye area in particular leaves a lot to be desired (shhh, don't tell him I said that ). I definitely haven't experienced the changes in facial expression/emotion that you've described feeling with Ash. I've been wondering if a silicone head would improve my experience. Since you have both TPE and silicone heads, I'd be curious to know if you think getting a silicone head for Harley might help us create a deeper bond? And if I did, should I go for implanted hair? It's a difficult purchase to justify, since it costs about twice as much as my rent

If you want to give a little more intensity to his eyes, you could use just a little eyeliner.
There are quite a few threads that explain how to put makeup on TPE faces (they describe girl dolls but the technique remains the same). If you don't manage to find the right dosage the first time, the makeup is easy to remove. bigchilli in particular showed the method, with photos and great talent (for Mia or for Ariana, if I remember correctly).

I think Harley is really cute in your photos and look forward to seeing more when you share them. Sharing clothes is definitely a perk.Jmacb9 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 2:09 pm Thank you for your kind words! Thank you for your flattering comments about Ash's story. I didn't see all the emotions in him, that he shows to me, at first. Except that curious smile on arrival day that he gave me when I touched his hair (I have a photo of that, but haven't shared yet). It took living with and loving him, and showing him my heart, for him to feel comfortable enough to show me some of his magic. He's shown emotions I've never seen him make before; over these past few weeks.
I personally have a thing for guy's hair... and think it's very sexy and attractive. Being able to run my hand through his hair and grip it a little; is a particularly nice experience when he's sitting next to me. Implanted hair gives him a considerably realistic scalp.
My TPE Ashton gave me a soft smile occasionally; when we interacted and I talked to him at home. He has custom realistic eyes that I've given him that added to his look exponentially. I'd suggest give it time, and bond with Harley, to see if he shows you some of his magic too. String lights can also add ambience and mood lighting when you hang out together.
Talking to Harley and dancing with him (if you like dancing) can help you bond with him on a closer level. Shared interests too - if you can include Harley in them; I think he would really like that.
Ash and I have been reading together and I showed him the video game Ark: Survival Evolved recently (he's fascinated in dinosaurs almost as much as I am) and it has caused us to forge an even closer bond; by involving him in more aspects of my life. If there are rituals that are especially important and have significance to you, including Harley in those, can also help you two connect on a deeper level.
Eyeliner is a very good suggestion to help define the eyes. With TPE; powdered makeups (blushes, matte foundations, eye or brow pencils) work well and I've had luck with some liquid ones too. Those ones last a lot longer if applied how you like; though keep in mind a mistake with liquid eyeliner will stay too.

Per MyAbsoluteBoyfriend’s advice (which is greatly appreciated ), I thought we would do something together. Since I am an avid LEGO collector, we built a set together! He helped by holding the instructions He then wanted to show off our work… The locomotive is a bit heavier, so it had to sit in his lap. Also, I had always been curious to see what he’d look like with glasses ever since his pictures on Spartan Lover captivated me. After not seeing many options on Amazon in my price range, I found these reading glasses at Dollar Tree. I think they look super cute on him, especially for $1.36!
Re: Meet Harley!
Unfortunately, we didn’t do anything fun to celebrate… Instead, Harley’s face and hair got a long overdue cleaning. I accidentally got water in his mouth, so he had to suck on this air tube for a while (I’m sorry baby ). We tried out a hairspray for synthetic hair that the wig salespeople sold me alongside his current wig. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to make his hair much more cooperative, and it smells like shit. Sleeping next to that stench tonight will be… interesting
I hope I can think of something truly special to do with him to celebrate 6 months (I can’t believe we’ve been together for almost half a year already ).
I’d love to take him somewhere, but he’s so hard to get in and out of the apartment Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

A good little dish that you like and that you would like to introduce to him, some soft music (why not a new record or a playlist chosen especially for this occasion), one or two candles which will give a pleasant ambient light...

Re: Meet Harley!
Congratulations on your fifth month Anniversary. Six months is just around the corner. (Stewart and I had our two year Anniversary in September). Just having his positive male presence around has added a lot to my life. With him I never feel alone. (I know Harley has done the same for you). Again, congratulations!
When I purchased Stewart I had the choice of what size his body would be. Due to my age I had concerns about Stewart's weight, so I went with a smaller body. His body is full silicone and the detail is amazing. His fingernails and toenails look real, but they are not separate from his fingers or toes. (They don't need to be trimmed and they cannot break off). His hands and feet are actually beautiful. The manufacturer that made him (DH Doll) really paid attention to detail. I consider Stewart to be an Art Doll. A lot of quality was built into him.
Even though Stewart has a smaller body, he is still heavy. He weighs 75 lbs. One way to manage Harley's weight is to consider buying a used wheelchair. Thrift Stores might be a good place to find an inexpensive one. This would enable you to move Harley up and down stairs with ease. To protect Harley you could use a comforter, or a thick blanket, to add padding to the chair. Adding an additional cushion to the seat of the chair would also protect him. And finding a wheelchair with leg and feet supports would add more protection. Again, Thrift Stores and other Resale Shops would be budget friendly. (I had a loved one who was confined to a wheelchair and he weighed 165 lbs). The chair enabled me to transport him everywhere we went. Going to restaurants and grocery shopping was very easy to do. I enjoyed taking my loved one to the local park and eating lunch with him. The wheelchair enabled us to do a lot. It is worth the investment.
Best Wishes to both of you!

Great idea! Sounds like a good excuse for me to get Harley into some formal wear too

I’ve been looking on Facebook marketplace for exactly that, but haven’t yet found anything in my price range that isn’t on the opposite side of the metro area . I will definitely look to see if there are any second hand shops near me that would have that sort of thing.
Currently, I use a hand truck to move him around (tbh, it’s basically a vertical wheelchair). Even with that, going up stairs requires 101% of my strength and a lot of sweat. Based on my research, I believe the wheelchair would be even harder to go up stairs with because the handles are lower.
It’s crazy that despite their size difference, Harley and Stewart are about the same weight
Re: Meet Harley!
In anticipation of Harley and I's upcoming 6 month anniversary, I made this collage of some of our favorite pictures and thought I'd share it! Sadly, the resolution doesn't seem to be very good. At least I tried
