I've always been passionate about dolls, and as a teenager I was very open-mouthed and talked openly about it, although I heard some nasty comments, nothing that serious. But as I lived with my parents, when I was 18, I bought a mannequin, as it was something "less sexual" and they accepted the doll more easily at home. Although I collected dolls of all types, I only bought sex dolls when I got married and moved house, my partner encouraged me to explore my tastes more. Nowadays I talk openly about dolls, and my neighbors sometimes look through their windows to see the dolls scattered around the house. But I live in Brazil, and I am perceived socially as feminine, so people tend to accept it easier.
