Painting Dolls

'There are some top-notch photographers here on the Doll Forum. I am not one of them. But I have some small skill in Photoshop, and I enjoy doing 'painted' portraits of my dolls. I'll share some of them from time to time, and before anyone complains the portraits are not realistic or misleading, they're just art, I'm not selling anything. I do these for my own enjoyment, it's something different, and just another way of having fun with my dolls. I'm happy to share what I do if anyone would like to learn how to do these. And of course everyone is welcome to contribute their own art.

Beautifully done! I love the painterly elements mixed in with the high realism.
Is this photoshop painting or with oil/acrylic?

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed them. I will continue to post a few from time to time.

They are done within Photoshop, combined with some older Photoshop filters from Topaz. Wish I could actually paint them, but have zero talent in that direction, lol.

Thanks for commenting. Glad you enjoyed the ‘paintings.’ They’re fun to do, and gives me an excuse to stay off the streets and out of the bars, lol!
