Finally got one, but I hate it!
Re: Finally got one, but I hate it!
Now i have 49 dolls at home, i don't have to feel alone or sexual unsatisfied any longer!
My dolls are my life, sorry for your bad experience...

I definitely relate to your story, especially with the hugging part. It's cathartic until it's not. Thanks for sharing, waiting for your post in the market.Fairy King wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:38 pmI'm with you there. It's terrible advice, but it's also the only advice there is unfortunately. I don't have any regrets, in fact I'm glad I did it. It was bugging me that much. But now it's done and it needs to go.

Re: Finally got one, but I hate it!
I would less outright discourage dolls completely, and more redirect other interested newbies to go for a used/secondhand doll or a torso/hip toy before going for a full doll, even if it's not to your personal favorite taste/shape. If you see a local deal on a used doll and it doesn't give you the ick, I encourage you to go for it or at least ask if you can see it in person. I feel like a lot of people will realize then and there if it's their thing or not. Being with a doll in person is not the same as seeing pictures online, and you often just don't know if it's for you or not until you have one in front of you.
Unfortunately we don't live in a day and age where you can't just ask your friend group if anybody has a love doll you can examine before deciding on buying one yourself. However, especially if local, it's a buyers market for secondhand dolls. For me it was absolutely the right decision and has bolstered my resolve to get eventually customized dolls more specific to my tastes. For somebody else, it might save them a lot of money and hassle.

hi icewind
thats impressive, must he a world record
Or are you a former vendor?
Saw some pictures and liked the way you keep them all around in a large loft, a lively universe
May I ask, which is your current favorite? the last arrival or is there one that stands out?

Think less of it as having to "try her out" specifically sexually, especially if you'd rather not. More like, leave her out of the box, dress her in a loose shirt or something, have her sit up, pose comfortably like she's hanging out, and just be around you while you're doing your own thing. Spend a few days just seeing how that feels for you. See if you still regret or if you get anything out of her presence on a platonic level as well. Some people primarily/exclusively enjoy their dolls for platonic company. There's more to be had with dolls than just the act of coitus.Fairy King wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 2:16 amDoes that mean I need to try her out a few more times before I can really be sure?

However, a first date I once had long ago was nothing but fighting. She was attractive, but we argued long and loud over practically every topic that came up. I was never so glad when the date was over, didn’t even give her a handshake, no desire to ever see her again.
Spent the next thirty years married to her. And they were good years.
So don’t be too quick to judge, based on one experience.

Re: Finally got one, but I hate it!
Once again ,Mr Franz nailed it !
Dolls aren't for everyone, and that's perfectly OK.
But for those who do discover dolls and fall deeply in love with them , it's a magical journey.
Everyone gets a doll for different reasons some don't know what that reason truly means to them until they walk through the door way .
For this guy , he explored the room and wasn't blown away with what was inside .
But he has the knowledge and is that much closer to fully understanding his sexual self.
It does kinda suck it cost him so much ,
This is why I always recommend a used doll for a newbie who isn't 100% sure how they will enjoy dolls.
It's easier to go back .
But it sounds a little bit like he pushed the buy button with his little head
And horny tax can be expensive sometimes.

You are contradictory here, unless I'm missing something.Treepusher wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 8:55 am First impressions are often accurate, so I won’t discount your feelings entirely.

From experience, nothing is ever as it seems during the first impression/ honeymoon phase. The truth is earned through trust, which takes a long time to achieve. The real connection never starts, but in my current relationship - has started only three years in.
It might be good for the OP to not think about it and just have the doll around. Maybe he will start to enjoy it over time!
