Neck to Head Lubricant

I prefer the 16mm screw for attaching heads but I notice it can tear up the surrounding material as it screws on. I am using both TPE and silicone heads on both my TPE and silicone bodies so I have ruled out Vaseline as a suitable lubricant. I could use water based love lube, but am worried about it drying up and sticking making situation worse when removing head. Does anyone have any ideas of what works for this?

Baby powder with cornstarch. That's what I use.

Second the baby powder idea. Or wax paper, but that can get messy.

At one time I was excited because I'd made thin acrylic disks for this, then somebody pointed out to me as well how much easier cornstarch is....

I also pull down on the neck stump as I screw the head on. It really helps on a TPE Doll.
