Hey I was just on Ebay and discovered these Dolfie and Volks BJD dolls for sale..Very Nice!!!

Are there any taller versions of these dolls over 73cm tall? Are there some that can be used for sex? I dont know to much about them and if they have silicone heads? I saw a local store called Dolfie Fashion Island.
The SD13 is nice..

I have a Rainy Elfdoll, you can see pictures of her here...

Volks and BJD's in general are primarily made for display and posing only. I don't think there is much demand to modify them for sex.

She is "Super Dollfie." Dollfie is different from Super Dollfie (SD) for scale.
Volks SD13 has many type and materials style but almost of them are plastic resin or plastic clay. What's that famous is made of plastic clay (may be "Ladoll clay")

see more http://www.volks.co.jp/en/event/htdosaka4/index.html

another famous like Volks SD is, e.g. D.O.D, Elfdoll

good link for many beauty BJD companies>>> http://dollfie.startkabel.nl/
(another type of mini doll include)

all of them not for sex.

They are very cute for displaying and photos. I have a Volks MSD. Here is a page with links to pretty much every doll supplier.

I buy stuff from Dollmore, they are Korean and haven't had problems.

Never seen any bigger than 80cm. The resin is very hard like a hard plastic or fiberglass. They are nice dolls but definitely not for sex, just collectibles. I like mine because she has a calming effect on me. One thing to be careful of though is clothing sizes. Each doll manufacturer seems to have their own body specs, so finding clothing that fits can be a challenge sometimes.

Gentaro Araki, who makes the Unoa dolls, has made a couple of dolls just about a meter tall in silicone. Not sure if he's ever sold any though.

I've got BJDs here as well - love 'em to bits. You can see a few of them on my LiveJournal here:

~B., who will try to sort out the problems with the LJ post I'd _really_ wanted to send you guys later . . .

(Removed, Rule 1)
real clay BJD are real piece of art and -when you can buy them- they're VERY expensive.

She's a VOLKS limited from Osaka Dolpa 4. SD13, so pretty close to 60cm.

I'm rather smitten with most of VOLKS' dolls, but the resin lady who's caught my eye of late is SD16 Ami Ayase from Tokyo Dolpa 21.

aw man artist why did you have to ask about BJDs? Now you got me going and I think I'm going to have to get Tania.. she is calling out to me lol

<img src="http://www.iplehouse.net/goods/images/2 ... 63453m.jpg">

Nice thing about these dolls are they are also highly customizable. You can change their heads, wigs, eyes, hands, feet, etc. and they stand on their own so they are great for pics. Pretty durable too, just keep them away from sunlight.. that kinda turns them yellow after a while.

Hey just curious where can I get that i-doloid magazine? Does anyone sell it outside of Japan?

That's the same doll I wanted! Too bad shes sold out :(

But I did just order a Dollfie dream from Volks USA (WIth an extra large bust and 4 heads)

And I also just recently got a Domuya (I think that is how you spell it) Boy doll, he has arrived only a few days ago and he is amazing! I named him Kyou

The girl will be here soon, for now Kyou has my Angel of a dream MSD Mini Kitty to keep him company!

He's 64cm, so he's really big! But also very high detail, he was called "The King"

I love BJDs!

As I am also on the look for miniature dolls and I have been using the links mentioned above and I noticed that now there are 1/2 dolls (90cm) for sale and thats nice. But didn't find to many yet. http://happyhouse4u.com/shopex/index.ph ... wt&gcat=31

Also found something new ish but I find those male dolls are nothing for me, only females allowed 8) Anyway seems they start become longer :)
Not sure how however if they become stronger aswell as I am not sure how much you can play with those limbs and if they break what you can do about it.
