Petite Pib???

OK toonist ol buddy. I mentioned it on the Isis thread. Now I'm calling you out!...lol
You know as a writer, I research anything that interests me to DEATH!
Well, the petite doll market interests me, so I did research it to death.
5ft tall dolls that weigh under 60 pounds seems to be an extremely popular desire for many doll owners or potential doll buyers.
In fact, from my own research, about 70 percent of men would prefer it.
Why?
Because....MOST MEN LOVE SHORT CHICKS!


Dude, if you could offer that as a second option, combined with the amazing heads you already have.....geez!
You may THINK you have orders now. But with a petite option, you'd have a serious amount of orders. Non-stop. Your only concern would be....how to keep up with them all. Serious coin for sure. Lots of happy new PIB owners.

well well well..

It is indeed something we've been working on in stages since last fall. We've had the pleasure of working with several wonderful models. From one we kept the castings of her feet, another, great hands, etc...And just last week we re-hooked up with the tiniest little cutie. We've wanted to work with her for some time and she was supposed to come to the studio this weekend, but we're looking at a couple feet of snow coming down on top of us this weekend...so, no molding tomorrow.
We absolutely do not want it to look like a young/immature girl...this will most definitely be a woman with a capital W. ..and a great V !

Will it happen tomorrow? No, it will take a few more months. Lots of sculpting and molding to get through. We don't use the laser scans.

Should anyone be considering placing an order in the near future, you can always switch to the teeny meenie version when she comes up.
Private Lite! The plan is to make sure the current faces we have developed will fit this body as well.

It's the one year anniversary of our filling our first orders. What a year...
We've made changes to every aspect of our dolls during that time.
We have endlessly tweeked our skeleton, learned a ton about coloration, reinvented the vag...and on and on...

Also, I'm wondering what you think of a name change for us??
How about "PrivateDolls.com" ?
Our name at this point is a bit cumbersome and we want to make everything....easy...

Glad to hear you're working some on a much smaller version.
No worries, it won't look like a young teenager. Not the way you do them.
RD had been doing petite bods for a while now, and they look like adults.
The breasts can still be about the same as you have now, perhaps a tad smaller.
I was wondering also if a petite doll would have the proper size neck stalk, so the current heads will fit. I imagine you can make it work out.

Like I mentioned to you earlier tonight, I'm all for the name switch to PrivateDolls. Shorter and to the point.
Plus then we could have, PD, LD, RD and AD....lol
I know you do these mold by hand and it takes alot of time and alot of money.
Maybe mid-late summer it'll happen.
BTW, if you get anymore live petite models in studio, gimme a holler. I'll make the 900 mile drive again for THAT!

This is great news Patrick , I'm desperately saving for a new doll and a PIB is on the short list ,a smaller body jumps up the list to #1.

My body 4 realdoll is one of my fanvourites as she has the most life like body and at 4' 10" is just righrt as an oriental girl.

Will your doll have smaller boobs as well , perhaps A or B cup hopefully rather than the cartoonish huge out of scale big boobs that seem to be prefered ?

Look forward to seeing the mock up when its ready, looks like you will need a 25 hour working day at this rate !

ok someone had to ask so it might as well be me .. if you will be making a smaller doll whixch means less materials used will that mean it may be cheaper than the rest , don't go the other way and make it more expensive .

I’d be among the first in line should a 5 foot (not much less), 50-pound (preferably even less) high-end doll become available. To me a short stature is not important in itself; it’s the weight that matters.

first thing i have to say is and not in a bad way but i disagree with priceritchie about most men love short chicks.you should not make assumptions like this,even the research can be wrong.

i would have to disagree with this.pib and two other manufacturer's dolls that i won't name out of respect that this is a pib thread,but more or less all fall into the $4800-$5000 price range/plus s&h.

i'd have to add that this is a fair and moderate price range for these products given the pleasure they give on all levels.

Just about every girl I have ever been attracted too has been about 5'2" or less.......with curves!! ( what's attractive about those dolls that look like ten year old boys?) anyway I digress.......

I too an a big fan now of PIB....I also like ParadiseDolls better than PrivateDolls but don't know if the name is already taken.....hell even IslandDolls isn't bad! and kind of keeps that "beach babe" feel.....

OH P.S.:
As far as I am concered it could be the highest priced doll on the market and would be well worth it. The other guys do some outstanding work, but it just seems like these dolls have that "hot" factor! The other dolls look pretty to me....but when I see these PIB's I want to jump on top of one!!!

Same here. I have ordered an Eden, but having seen the latest scuplting of Isis, which looks like a cross between Eden and Bella) and Joon, I would definitely be going for one of them two instead. I have sent Patrick a few emails now, asking him if he is sculpting any more heads within the next month or so, as every head he develops trumps the last one (at least for me anyway), but I have not had a response from him for almost a week now. I guess he is on holiday.

Hey hey,
Great to hear these responses. The e-mails hit us like a big wave last week. That's a good thing. It just takes time to get to every one.
The 30 inches of snow came on as predicted. We now have a surreal landscape outside the studio. It's beautiful, but....man o man!!
It's the first time we lost power in 20 yrs. It was "Caveman for a Day" here.
