I've owned a Letha in the past and was very pleased with it. Both entries worked fine. But that was a few years back and she's no longer available.

I'm looking into getting a new Latex doll and was wondering which dolls work best for sex.

I'm not interested or worried about oral, so a non functioning or poorly functioning head isn't a concern.

If anyone has had a Letha in the past, and can recommend a new doll that feels similar, I'd appreciate it.

I don't need a doll with the same proportions at Letha (i.e. huge bust), just entries that are as easy/natural to access.

I've been looking at the Jana Cova and Jessie Jane dolls. Jana looks nice, but anal seems out of the question. Jessie looks nice as well, but I'm not sure how the entries would fare on her, though they do look similar to how Letha's are.

Have you had a look at the Poupee-latex site Yorktown our inflatable ladies mod has bought two recently Ingrid and Rene and he seems pleased with them. If you ask him he might post some pictures of them for you.

I've been a lurker on here for a while and have seen the Poupee latex dolls.

Unfortunately, visibly, they don't really do anything for me.

They just look too, I don't know, young, and I can't seem to get over that.

On the flip side, they do look like some high quality work goes into them.

The price tag looks a bit high too... I think I read upwards of 500 bucks.

And, they're in France right? That must take forever to get stateside.

Both Jana and Miranda are good. Provided one is not too large, the smaller holes are better as one does not lose lubrication in slack parts of the hole, and with the latex types, lubrication is vital. So although I have not tried anal yet, Jana should not be dismissed. She's very pretty, apart from anything else.

first welcome aboard the TDF - as to your question - i happen to own the Letha Weapons dolly as well - and yes she is very much ready for action - but with that said she has been discontinued - so i am very carefull with mine -

her manufacture in Hungary has gone out of buisness - and its unknown what happened to the pattern molds - many rumours were spread but no real answers of fact have ever come to bear

so now to a replacement of sorts -

Vickylover made mention of my Poupee-latex dolls - they are the closest in construction design to Letha - although - sadly Letha is still better in some respects - especially CowGirl -

the poupee-latex are not cheap - i do not know where you are located but i live in the ole US of A - and her price changes daily on a Euro vs US Dollar any where from $275 to $315 -

mine took only 5 days from order to my door - one of the fastest turn arounds i have seen - very sweet -

the dolls are good and the fact they are made in France not China makes me happy also - they are not perfect though and then again no doll is - but i like them they are one of the more pretty looking babes out there - my only issue is with the head to body conection due to dissimular media of natural latex and pvc vinyl for the head - see the Letha dolly had a latex head so bonding was not an issue - but then again the Letha head is a tuff looker -

HaremLover made mention of the CalExotic Jana Cova dolly and Miranda - again location is important as Miranda is not available in the USA - but Jana Cova is a USA only latex dolly
each importer has a deal with both the porn stars and distributors - this does not mean its impossible - as dolls can and do end up every where on the globe -

CalExotic makes 3 latex dollies and all 3 are slightly diferent - for the USA market

Jana Cova - has a larger entry fore and aft than her sisters - and as Haremlover points out she has a pretty face

Tera Patrick - has a smaller entry fore and aft - has a pretty face although - she looks nothing like Tera Patrick - in any way

Jesse Jane - she sits on her knees bent like she is going to give you a BJ - this doll that i had was a disaster as she had no quality at all - with crazy looks to boot -

i am a big advocate for lube and as HaremLover states its a must - but owner size is not so much an issue as with a good water based lube all entries can be accessed even in the smaller Tera dolly -

so now its up to you mrfantastic - IMO the poupee-latex are the most simular to Letha - not an exact match but ease of entry and feel, very good -
the CalExotic babes are nice - but they are very much different to Letha

So are the Poupee dolls single chamber, like Letha, or double chamber? And there's just one body type, right? The models shown on the site are for different faces only, right? How tall are they? Letha was a decent sized doll, these look much smaller.

The Euro is down pretty low against the dollar right now (historically peaking), so there probably hasn't been a better time to buy one.

You ordered one and it shipped from France to where you live in 5 days? That's amazing! I'm on the South East coast, where are you located?

Jana looks like a tall doll. Am I right, or is that just a trick of her pictures. I'm a pretty big guy (6'3") so I'd prefer a doll that has some decent height to her.

Jana is dual chamber, right? How does that feel when compared to Letha?

mrfantastic - yes the French latex dolls are just like Letha - a single pour latex body - all the dolls are the same though - only difference is the wig type used, only- Letha was taller and has more mass than the poupee-latex period - the poupee-latex are by no means small -

i am in the north east USA - delivery time for these dolls is excellent

Jana is very close in size and mass to Letha - but the dual chamber design makes for a different doll experiance than Letha - Letha was easy to manipulate because of her latex body - but inside Jana is another skin in vinyl so she does not feel the same - heavier -

my Jana is almost 3 years old - and i have had no problems - but all these chinese latex dolls are not my favs - in my opinion of course - below is a picture of a poupee-latex and a standard vinyl dolly from CalExotic -

I ended up getting two Jana's.

One for use, another for backup.

Hopefully they turn out okay.

Hi fellow latex doll lovers. Been a long time lurker of this excellent board, but here's my first posting. Being a rubber fetishist I wonder how much the french dolls smell of rubber/latex.

first welcome aboard - and i am glad you gave the ahoy signal -

like all latex dolls the poupee-latex has a smell at first - it is always wise upon arrival to wash your lovely dolly - this also removes any particles from manufacture off - and leaving the doll out and inflated in the open for awhile also is a very good idea

i found that the poupee-latex doll smell had dissapated very quickly within a few days - and much faster than the CalExotic chinese latex babes - which had a hybrid vinyl-latex smell for like a week or so -

of course if you wish to keep that smell of natural latex - which i actually liked the smell of the poupee-latex doll versus the chinese made ones - you could keep the doll wrapped up in a material that would hold in the natural latex aroma - but just make sure its a material that will not harm latex - i use a blanket

You're lucky. Wish my wife could be a bit more doll tolerant. Not sure what they are to her - cadavers, adulterous competitors, whatever but she really does not like seeing me next to one. . . But she doesn't at all mind my playing with balloons or lilos.

Got my two Janas.

Wasn't pleased.

Not sure if it's just ergonomics or what, but I didn't find her easy to use, nor very pleasurable.

Fortunately, I can still return the one I didn't open.

Plus, the latex isn't near as good as what is on the Lethas.

Probably should have gone with the poupee latex dolls.

Oh well, live and learn I guess.

while i admitt i too was dis-pleased when i got Tera as i thought she was going be
just like my Letha Weapons babe - i let her grow on me and i have learned to actually
like having her around now - but yes i felt a little cheated at first -

i would let Jana hang around - and get used to her design - yes she has to be inflated
in a different way with the inner chamber made firm - but not over inflated - as that can
cause a seam failure - which can not be seen nor repaired easily -

the outer latex body then can be inflated to slight firmness just to give her a good
bounce but again not over inflated as it will change the shape of the doll - that is unless
you like a really big air gurl -

use of a water based lube like wet or LD glide is a must as latex is a natural material and
is pourus and absorbs lube like a sponge - so beware as others here will advise a latex babe
can be rough on you real fast if you do not use the lube - and do stay a away from oil based
lubes like KY Non water based or vaseline they are dangerous to vinyl which Jana does have
as some parts of her body - it also makes for an easy clean-up and does not stain clothes

if there is some other part of her that does not make sense - or how to question ? -

- please do not hesitate to make a post here - many of us here have had the same issues or simular questions -
