Edit: I just noticed. This is post 1000! I need to get a life.
YOU need to get a life? I have over three times the number of posts and you had a full year's head start on me! :haha2:

And you're not going to get a perfect replica, I don't care how accurate the scans. Now maybe if a full bode life cast were taken on the set of one of her movies, with her made up and wearing the exact same expression she used on that particular scene you might get very close to how she looked at that moment of that scene...I think you get my drift.

Just look at the various pictures of Stacy, she looks radically different from the Stacy in other shots and from the Stacy Leigh I met last year at the Hershey meet.

Even genetically identical twins aren't perfectly identical. At least not in looks.

not her without them. sorry. a good face but not Lupe.
simple get a hooker tell her to growl at you and bear her teeth and then try andpenetrate her teeth... it's because of the oral insert they you, my guess is eighther you couldn't use the oral or it could break within minutes of its first use

this is the trouble trying to get realistic portrait faces AND have oral function. it is a lot to ask artistically without the BJ mouth. anyways it IS why she looks like something is missing. IT IS,lol.
perhaps a slip in set of her teeth for looks when not in use otherwise. !!

,even with her mouth closed you can see her protruding teeth. she is cute ,do not get me wrong. likenesses are very tough to do even with teeth.. go look at any wax museum.
meh i doubt that that is it i more think it has to do with the lack of emotions... they are after qll what make us human, and this is a replica of a human we are talking about

As having a bonafide obsession over Lupe, I could not believe my eyes when I saw a doll of her. Other than the name, it is nothing like her, from the few photos that are shown. The doll is beautiful but the real Lupe is very skinny and petite, almost like a Boy Toy doll as far as the body goes but small boobs.

The main problem with the doll's face is that it is wider than Lupe's real head. Lupe's head (and face) is narrower than the RD likeness. The lips need to protrude out a little more to mimic her lips over her teeth even when her mouth is closed.

The real Lupe is like a living fantasy to me and having a doll that looked like her would be incredible. Perhaps they need to do a full body cast including the head of her. She's rather unique and SCULPTING exact likenesses is sometimes nearly impossible with some people due to their unique likenesses. I am dying to watch how this doll progresses. Maybe that's all that it will be. ??

As far as I understood about the Wicked Realdoll creation process.

All the girls were scanned by a 3D scanner, from head to toe, and then the head was scanned in a special scanner, that captures more detail.
The hands, feet and private parts were all molded.

Lupe has bigger boobs now.

I wouldn't be able to explain how Lupe's doll version would not have the same body as the real Lupe, if she was 3D scanned...

The problem mainly I see is the head. I cannot see the rest of the doll and her together to make a comparison other than the doll needs to be really small because she is.

Unless she shaved her head (and we know she didn't) perhaps the head scanning could not make accurate readings or maybe she was fidgeting (or something else  ) and prevented the machine from making the right measurement.

Lupe is a little goddess but Gordon is right, something is amiss and I think it is in the head shape.

I agree with you totally n that, Gawd, I wonder if Matt could get away with making an RD-2 body like that (especialy the boobies)? Add an Amara face, paint her a deep Hershey's Chocolate brown...

To settle the controversy Stacy should obtain some clear nude photos of Lupe's body & face (with mouth closed) taken within the same year that she was scanned for Abyss.
Then apply identical wig, hairstyle, make-up & pose the Lupe doll in the exact same poses as the nude/porn photos & light the shots similarly.

Lupe does have a bit of maxillary prognathism having average woman size teeth in a very petite (by Western standards) body.

Lupe's appearance from aged 19 to 23 has changed considerably more than the average woman's appearance changes within those same few short years.

Perhaps a representative from Abyss could comment on how the scanned-in data on a computer hard drive resulted in the current Lupe doll? Hardly a trade secret now is it?

small enough that you could almost flush her down the toilet :P

I agree that the teeth don't match up well the real Lupe's and want to add that the dolls hair also doesn't. Lupe has that hairline with the small fine hairs along it and in her case just putting a matching color wig isn't cutting it IMO. I'vs seen the AVN pics where it looks like a lace wig is in use which I think is the way to go or just out right implanting the hair which would be perfect. Slight tweaks would make them dead ringers. Almost forgot mention more realistic eyes for the dolls instead of what looks like the traditional style

to put it simple you cant make a oll look exatly like a peron, its just not possible. there are so man variables youd need to account for each person, also please not that the observation you make are from the photos of the doll not first hand which is a big differnce...

I agree about the teeth. I have mentioned it to Matt a few times too. I REALLY dislike that the teeth do not show on most of the new faces. That is a direct result of the new insert crap... which I also hate. I wish the faces weren't even orally capable. The oral function that so many guys pine for- ruins the appearance IMO.

*I have been bitching about using lace front wigs FOREVER. I was told (when I used a nice, lace front wig for Kaylani) that I have to use the wig they chose for the doll. The same went for the Lupe doll.... I used the wig they provided.

I would like to say that the doll looks just like Lupe in real life. I have seen both, and it's better to compare the doll to regular candid "snapshots" of Lupe, rather than these glossy retouched photos the web is saturated with. The real Lupe was scanned for the doll. It's her actual face. The fact that the real Lupe made ZERO expression while being scanned is unfortunate. But the doll has the SAME face as Lupe, were she just sitting around watching tv. In the internet pics of the real Lupe that you are all comparing the doll to, she is making a "fuck me face". Whereas the doll is not.

You can't compare two photos with completely different lighting. The real Lupe has her face retouched with photoshop in the PR photos you're all drooling over, the doll's face hasn't been retouched... there are so many factors that go into a photo that tweek ones appearance. Had any of you met the real Lupe, you would see the doll looks just like the real porn actor Lupe. (for me a star is something in the sky, not a person. They are mere actors to me- not stars, sorry!)

Anyway, having met the real girl and knowing what I know about the nuances in lighting/retouching/makeup/hairstyles and facial expression- my assessment is some of you are just nitpicking!!!

hugs to you all, I have more Lupe pics to color correct!!!
xoxo

I don't know the exact weight, BUT- I could carry her with one arm EASILY. She could even stand on her own with support, for a little while. Great doll, but unfortunately Lupe's face does absolutely nothing for me in the physical department.

Which is too bad because the body is awesome!!!

One would think that features such as lace front wigs would be standard on a doll that you are paying $7,000.00 plus a hefty shipping fee for. That said, the Wicked Dolls are absolutely stunning and are about as close as one can realistically expect to get in terms of looking like the gorgeous women that they are modeled after.

Abyss is working on that I think, and also I would like to see MUCH better eyes.

That is good to hear. It just seems to me that the most expensive dolls on the market should naturally have the best features come as standard. As for the eyes, I have learned just from observation what a tremendous difference having realistic eyes can make. Like, a night and day difference. At any rate, they still look absolutely amazing as they are.
