Lupe

I don't mean any disrespect to Abyss Creations, or Stacey. But to me,the Lupe doll does not look as acurate as the other wickedrealdolls. The body looks right but the face does not look right to me. Maybe its the facial expression? But I think for me the eyes are the main thing. The eye color is right. I can't put my finger on what I think is not right. I still think she is very attractive and I will buy one If I find out that my job is secure. Anyone else have any ideas on what Im not seeing?

Perhaps we could see a side by side photo...Doll versus real Lupe?

I agree, Lupe is one of my favorites. I don't "see" it in the photos, maybe in real life she looks more like Lupe?

To be fair you have to use a straight on face shot, not a 3/4 pose.

Close enuf that it almost resembles her "identical twin sister"

Abyss does not(?) make Hi-Res casts of the face. Instead they scan the body & face.

Some pornstars (not all) may get a little creeped if the doll is "actually them" gettin shtuppered  by anybody all around the world.

They did cast hands & feet from life on the Jessica Drake; others also(?)

Now for the body & face, does Abyss do a hi-tech 3D printing producing a "CNC machined look" life size body for casting & molding;

Or does Abyss take the 3D scanned computer data and adjust a Bondo or clay model & take measurements with calipers all over and take away a little or add a little until every square inch matches the computer 3D database from the pornstar's scan?

The benefit of this technique is one can take a 40 year old MILF and tweak the sculpture to appear 10 years younger

I see it, but I think it is just the relaxed look of the doll's face compared to the passionate CFM pose that Lupe makes for the camera. Yummy...

Cheers,

Edit: I just noticed. This is post 1000! I need to get a life.

Congrats on your 1000th post, r4m.

Quite frankly they look very close.I expect you could find a photo of Lupe that may be virtually identical. Truth be told, I think the doll's face is prettier than the original. but again that could be owing to the specific photos of Lupe that have been provided.

It would appear her face is a little narrower in the photos, but also could be the hair throwing us off.

Either case, I'd love to have the doll :)

Yeah, I gotta say the face really sold it for me. The only problem I've had is the whole mouth insert thing. DK how the Lupe head was designed.

But the face looks very accurate albeit I've had little time to check out Lupe's work. He has the whole colombiana thing working in this mix. Very nice work aesthetically.

You know photo's like these posted just drive me to distration,....
I think they look very close,.. could it be the shape of her eyes on the doll as aposed to her real eye lids in her picture that have thrown you ?

I think one thing that’s missing from the Wicked RD lineup is expressions on the faces. They all have a kind of neutral look, where I wish they had more of a smile - if only a subtle one. This may be what Gordon’s picking up on, especially in the case of the normally exuberant Fuentes. It’s such a switch from her real life personality to have a placid countenance that it’s even more noticeable, in contrast, than the other models in the line.

That wet shot is the first one that I have seen that actually looks like the doll. And it is a good approximation at that. Now I'm happy, as I also had previous doubts about the initial resemblance.

I think its the hair, thats why I asked in other post if there were pictures with other wigs. Imo the wig she wears now makes her more civilized/older and I think its intended.

You caught Lupe's expression just right with the side by side pics JOA. For a doll, that is about as good as it gets. Matt made a real nice doll with all of the Wicked girls. The next best thing is the real woman herself. Good luck with that.

I Agree, the faces are a bit different, IMHO the doll's face has a softer look. Personally I LOVE the Lupe doll!
