Hi, timetraveler1

After removing her original head, I put a plastic container (about 10cm diameter)
In order to make her to keep inflated even when she has no head, I must make air intake valve on the container.
When it is completed, she is in the state of inflation with no head.
Then it was possible to put a hair mannequin (or others) on.

Modifying the hair mannequin's mouth to oral-able, required time and effort considerably.
But I've gotten sufficient results.

Since there are some photographs, let me check and arrange and upload in a few days.

Thanks

Hi,
This time, I'll show the cutting process of mouth portion.
Though the head in this pic is neck-less, in real work, you should use ordinary hair mannequin with neck.
A banana in the photograph is placed for checking the point where the sleeve should be put to.
I'll add explanations if needed afterwards.

Picts of making a sleeve will be uploaded next time.

Thanks

Thanks Fabin , great pics , as they say a picture is worth a thousand words i'll take a pic of the proceedures and save them for notes. i am interested to see your next group of pics which should show how the outer mouth area is colored and blended in with the cut out part of the face . and what you used to do it. i guess after the throat sleeve is put in place you repack something all around it where it was removed before ? :) P.S. you said earlier you put the sleeve in the throat and glued in place , what type of glue did you use ???
great work .

Hi,
This time,
expand the width of mouth erea.
Image

Then coat inside in order to prevent dust powder.
Image

reinforce the lip around before put a sleeve.
Image

About how to coloring.
Mix the oil paint to the sealant use for final work.
Flesh color arises in mixture of orange and white.

Sleeve will come next.

Thanks

Hi,
Please see the "Making a sleeve".

These are main points.
1,a banana is used instead of a mold.
2,strengthen with panty hose so that it may not be torn by over expanding. (B-3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)
3,finally the sleeve is used inside out. (B-15,16,17)
4,it's desirable for the sleeve exactly no air(space) inside. (B23,,,,,,,,36)
5,I think it's better open the end side for cleaning. (later)
6,put kitchen lap to where not to be paste with.

7,it takes 24 hours to cure completely.
8,confirm whether there is water leaks or not.(must before cut the end)

And the final, "Attach to her mouth" will be uploaded next.

Thanks

Hi, timetraveler1
Hi, ValleyOfTheDolls
Hi, Joe Bin
Thank you for your comments.

Well, today is the final stage.
<<<Notes>>>
1,Sealant solidifies with humidity.
Since the surface will be hardened in about 20 minutes if it takes out from a container, please do work less than 15minutes.
If I touch it with wet cloth, it will solidify early still more.

2,for coloring, I used oil paint.
such as "chapel rose","beige","yellow ochre","permanent white".
oil paints are usually hard to dry.
it's convenient.
because, once it was mixed to sealant, it will be solidified in 20 minutes, but if I kept the rest of oil paint mix, I could add any color to the mix and use for second try.

By actual work,
in order to get similar color,
first I mixed oil paint mix moderately and mixed with sealant and plaster(paint to her mouth).
I saw the result, and add any color to existing oil paint mix (not the one with sealant).
I repeated 3-4 times until I felt the job good.

very good work fabin , if i had to nit pick about anything it would only be that around the mouth the silicon needs to be smoothed out more to make it smooth with the face texture , but this may not be possible , unless it can be thinned by using something on your thumb and smoothing it more ?

but a great job !!! :D

Hi, timetraveler1

Sealant is diluted with thinner called hexane. wiki>link>>>
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexane

By applying the thinner, sealant becomes something like oatmeal (or like liquid of course). I've painted it to her mouth using paintbrush.
But I could not get so smooth surface. (this pic of another head shows that for example)
Image
BTW. Since all of hair mannequin have planted human hair, you can do brushing and shampoo.
Also when washing her mouth, it does not separate like a wig, or no need removing.

Thanks

fabin, i still wonder though even though the silicon was thinned already , if after doing the face before it dried or even afterwards if an even more thinned silicon couldn't be coated over it to make it smoother? (like with a plastic piece simular to what they put putty on a car body? ) I am just wondering as i don't know if it would work or not ? thanks again for the pics and explanations , anytime i talk about things please understand i am not trying to put you or anyone else down i am only pointing out things to help and possibly say a different way that might or might not work but might be something you never tried oer thought of .
By the way you did a"GREAT" job on matching the color to the face the skin matches great!
