Click on them.

All your smiles should be showing on the left.Make sure you do not have them disabled in the options at the bottom of the post above where you click submit. They do not look like smilies until you read your post though

Ok, that explains why I couldn't get them to come up on the post. They just show up as text initially.

Hi, it's all so simple when it's explained.I had tried copy or cut and paste and had somehow been successful after many attempts and I didn't know how I had done it to do it again.This is a very helpful part of the forum, thank you. Live and love and learn.
