Wigs for smaller dolls?

I'm looking for a good source for wigs for the smaller dolls like the MLD or Cassi, which seem to be sizes 16/17. Does anyone have a preferred vendor? I saw some nice human hair wigs at dollsmane.com, but was curious if anyone has had a good experience elsewhere.

Is this the site you referred to? http://www.dollsmanepage.com/

I don't know other sites but if you have the size then use it for search wigs on eBay or google shopping.

Thanks for the input. Yes, that's the one I was referencing.

I did use google and ebay, but you get a lot of "baby doll" type wigs, so I was hoping to cut through some of the clutter and see if other had a preferred vendor.

Aye 16/17 is baby hair. You could try search for mannequin wigs but even children wigs might be more 18/19, maybe you can make em bit smaller. Buy a cheap one and try that.
What you also could do and try your luck is searching for children wigs used at carnival, fairs, halloween etc... that way you might get adult looking wigs in weird colors or just very weird looking ones :)
A site like this for example http://www.costumecraze.com/Costume-Acc ... -Wigs.html

Hello,

Anyone tried wigsbuy.com? Seems to be very interesting because you can choose the measurements

Some places sell fake ponytails. They have draw string on them too. Perfect for some smaller dolls

I know for 100cm WM dolls you can use almost any wig! Well, according to the manufacturer!

While they don't give exact measurements, Real Love Sex Dolls does divide their wigs into categories based on doll height. This may help some.

Baught a wig from wigsbuy, the one I liked could not be custom sized, spoke with them on the phone and was told only a few could be, so I baught one that was a petite size,, way too big, April's head measures 19-3/4 inches.

My 2 80 CM came with these awful wigs that were 2 big with straps and clips and so frustrating I gave them to my grand daughters to play with. I bought new wigs on eBay - full scalp 14/15 doll wigs - fit like gloves, I wanted short hair, I like the look and a whole lot easier to handle/maintain.

Both wigs cost less then 20 a piece.

Good find. They look very nice on your dolls. Short wigs are popular on dolls as they are easier to manage.

How do you determine which size wig to get? I wouldn't mind getting another for my 100cm doll.

Most online wig outlets will have a page on their website showing you how to measure a head to determine best wig size. Still, trying to find flattering wigs in smaller sizes can be a challenge.

i didnt like those small wigs... I simply bought normal sized (there wasnt even a size on it) and sew it till it fits the dollhead. this worked for me and it looked good.

i wanted specific wigs and they are not in childish size, so i had to sew them like i wanted. and it was easy. :)
