It was really great to meet people from the forum.
Don't forget also meeting the ladies too.:D
Meeting kindred spirits and sharing a bevy in an 'unlightened' world just has to be the best and the UK venue, ok we're a tad reserved, just has to be the best experience for a doll lover. :glou:

Yes we're getting close to what looks like the biggest meet so fare :D. There's still plenty of time for those that are thinking about coming to get in there and book  . So If you are thinking and would like to know more, then just send me a pm.

Meets are the icing on the cake for doll owners, they are the place where all those virtual friends can bond and become real life buddies. The best thing about that is we all have one thing in common, our love of the dolls :D .

I'm discussing a few ideas for meet at the moment, but if anyone has something that they'd like to do (example, Karrot has a Teddybabe picnic planned) , then please either post it here or in the meet room.

Looking forward to seeing you all there :glou:

Hi gyxile, welcome to TDF :D

Please, tell us a little more about yourself. Do you own a doll, if so tell us something about your doll. Or are you considering to buy a doll, or just admiring dolls. We are curious

About the doll meet, I'll send you a PM.

Only a month away everyone. There's still time to come for those that haven't made up their minds

For those that are coming; if there is anything that you'd like to see or do at the meet, then let us know :D.

Also, if any vendors or manufacturers would like to come along and showcase your dolls, then you are more than welcome. Just drop Fenrisulfreither, Nescio50 or myself a pm

There's a very small chance I might consider going. Very small. I have several obstacles to overcome, like the fear of flying. Haven't been on a plane since 1997. I will first have to do a one hour test flight to Canada, to see if I'm up to it, and what airport security is like. I made it to Hershey, believe it or not. Can someone please email me the location and the nearest hotels and if a train goes near the location. Thank You. I tried to se if I could take shorter plane trips, like going through Greenland, Iceland and then England. I figure I'd take a train as far East in Canada as I could go, and then take a short flight to Greenland. Unfortunately, flying to Greenland costs $5,000, since it's so out of the way. A boat would take too long.
