Ah you must be a Dutchie?!
I promise I will handle with care!
Re: Photographic journey!
Nope, how tempting it maybe to see my doll in the spotlight. She is already participating in an other photo shoot. I'll wait how that turns out, when her picture is on display for hundreds to see. Some members have 4 to 6 dolls, I have only one. I'll be lost without her if anything happens.Photographchris wrote:Hi WIm!

I am not sure, but you may have to include the UK in your quest.

Re: Photographic journey!
As most of us, first I was suspicious - another photo journalist interested in dolls In our PMs I told her my rules and she agreed and I invited her.
I guess she was a bit nervous/curious to meet a doll owner, and so was I, as we both didn't know what to expect.
Christel was very nice, very respectful - we had a nice and open talk about my dolls, dolls and the doll community.
She did a photo shoot with all of my dolls. She was really surprised by the details of the 4Woods dolls, but she was most impressed by my Anatomical doll, especially Eveshka (the Oksana head).
Probably a selection of her photos will be published at CoverDoll.
Here's a picture of Christel with Lily and Sacha It was really fun, and I'm looking forward to see all her photos

Re: Photographic journey!
I think this photo shoot went more than good and I´m looking forward to see the result. Now we have a threesome of female photographers with adorable Stacey, Benita and Christel shooting dolls. Congratulations to you,
Chris

I'm looking forward to seeing the photo's myself.
I'd love to see the results.
Nescio, your girls are perfect ambassadors for this hobby.
We love seeing them anytime.

Re: Photographic journey!
At least the dolls are pretty as is your home. But I wonder when the subject of exploiting owners with their dolls for needed attention by photographers, will grow old. From Elena Dorfman all the way to Benita, I guess the world will never tire of the subject.
Maybe I should take pics of guys with their dolls too. It seems like everybody is doing it!

I'd love to see the vogue featuring your work.. I'm guessing you do not mean vogue Italia's photo vogue, but actually vogue the magazine.

Same dolls different photos!stacy718 wrote:That looks just like Benita's shots. Natural lighting soft poses... Same photos different outfits!
I expect Christel's photos to be different (different style) than Benita's.
All yesterday's pictures are just the dolls - there are no pictures of me (be happy, the dolls are much prettier )
Stacy, you are always welcome to photograph my dolls at my home whenever you visit Europe.
Re: Photographic journey!
From the photo above I must say that Christel does look like Benita from the back.
You can photograph any of my dolls at any-time Stacy and I think you're doll photos are exceptional We'd love to get you over to the meet in Wales this year .stacy718 wrote:Maybe I should take pics of guys with their dolls too. It seems like everybody is doing it!

Re: Photographic journey!
Why not? I suspect many owners would feel far more comfortable around you because you are actually a part of the community and work in doll photography. In which case, you are probably more qualified than anyone else to do this sort of thing and would definitely know what angles to approach it from with care and taste. Personally, I would love to see you do a documentary on owners, along with your own personal history and work. Who knows? It might even get your name and work out there even more.stacy718 wrote:
